In the last two months the performance of the editor has absolutely tanked. It makes it impossible to type your emails out in the editor anymore. I'm talking 5-10 seconds of delay for typing and what appears on the screen. Typing everything out in a separate program like google docs is also super annoying since shopify email doesn't support paste without formatting and trying to format text in shopify email is a joke. You can just enter a font size, your forced to use a slider and hope you can get the exact value you want. Absolutely sucked all the joy out of making emails. Also give me back the ability to format text (bold, italics, etc on buttons). The section limit is awfully low too.
Hi, there! Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry you ran into issues with a delay while typing and completely understand that this experience would be frustrating. We’re happy to report that we isolated the issue and have now fixed it. We are consistently working on improving the editor experience and I'd love to discuss the challenges you've faced in more detail if you're open to it. I'll be sending you an email directly to follow up! - Clare, Shopify Email
seems like a good app but it does not send your first 1,000 emails for free, you still have to pay a base price. I find this description very misleading and disappointing.
Thank you for your review and feedback. If your store is on the Basic, Shopify, Advanced Shopify, or Shopify Plus plan, then you can send 10,000 emails for free every calendar month with Shopify Email. If you have noticed issues with your billing please email us so we can investigate further https://bit.ly/2AWw5VA. - Clare, Shopify Email
The application is free it’s true, but it’s been 3 months since my emails are sent without my profile image and with an email address different from mine. I had to find myself why there was this, I was not contacted or warned. It’s free it’s true but pay attention the quality is not always present

Emails getting send out late.. up to 24hrs of delay.. horrible. Not only useless, it's actively frustrating customers. Fix this people!
Hi there. Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, we truly appreciate it. I understand you have some concerns about delays in your emails being sent out when using the Shopify Email app. If you are sending more than 1000 emails out, then your emails may be sent in batches. This is to help reduce the risk of the emails being flagged as spam. If this isn't the case however, I'd encourage you to connect with our Live Support: https://bit.ly/2AWw5VA. - Blair, Shopify Support
doesnt load, cant edit the email i send out or it sends you into an eternal loading spiral. Unistalled and restalled again, nothing.
Hi there! Thank you so much for taking the time to contact us about this issue. We jumped in to investigate and released a fix that should prevent this from happening going forward. Only negative I have to say, but it's a biggie for me, is they require too many hoops to using one's own domain for email. Instead of just allowing one to add spf, dkim, _dmark into your DNS, Shopify Email sends you to another site where you have to sign up with them, then use the spf, dkim, _dmark info they provide, which is based on their understanding about how your domain host is configured, even though the info provided is not accurate for use with my host. Too many hoops for me!
Hi! Thanks for you review. I appreciate that these extra steps may not be ideal, and I have gone ahead and flagged this as feedback for our app developers to review. We truly appreciate this feedback, so thank you for flagging it! -Maz, Shopify Support
bof, beaucoup trop de mail arrive dans les spam
OK, so I am not using any app for Emailer Marketing (yet) and have been using Shopify's native basic Marketing Emailer Campaign option. Recently they have included the personalisation option so a store can mention Name, Area, Store etc as dynamic text. This has clearly not been tested properly by Shopify. When adding a comma after the name, the preview and final Emailer inserts a space before the comma. It kind of renders the personalisation option useless for me (unless you are OK to be seen as a brand that does not understand basic punctuation). See the examples of the output below for a subject line. Shopify Subject Output: Raj , how are you today? Required Subject Output: Raj, how are you today? Can someone fix this, or let me know how to fix it myself through code? I am using the Brooklyn theme. My store URL is www.sexybeast.in. From the non-responses to other comments I see, it looks like this is extremely low priority for the developers? Help, please.
