The email builder can feel a bit wonky. For example it often gets no result when searching for a collection to add to a link and when you try to add a section using the "+" button next to a section it always gets added at the bottom of the page so you then need to reposition it. There's also a glitch that kicks you out of the editor and back to the main app page which happens pretty often. There's been no new updates since I original posted a review in May 2022 and the issues are still there. I'm reducing the star rating because it looks like Shopify won't be updating regularly. Would also be good to be able to have a "Show email in browser" button in emails.

i love the templates. they are very easy to use. I just wish that they made it possible to put two images on the same page instead of one gian product image per page. Also, please introduce the feature to re-email those who haven't opened the newsletter.

It's super easy to build out an email. I usually have an issue with what to feature, but Shopify helps with the built in stats. I'm still poking around in here to learn about all of the capabilities!

Worst email app on the store, only thing it's got going for it is that it's cheap & can do flows but tbh it needs to be cheap now that shopify is taking fee's from all 3rd party transactions including buy now pay later services which already take too much. Moving the abandoned cart emails into this app while it is so half baked has me angry, I had an awesome template but now it's gone as you guys are forcing us to use this. I can't make anywhere near as good of an email in this app as I could using OrderlyEmails: Email Templates and just pasting the code into shopify. This app can't even size images properly, recommend products or display dynamic discount codes to draw a customer back. Such a lack of customization, lack of social networks you can list in your footer. The footer is just plain terrible tbh. Stop rolling this out until it's actually a good app!

Having greater customization of your emails, and using your own custom templates, is incredibly helpful for merchants that want to have greater control over their marketing and branding emails. Good help but... you can't edit and use again an already sent out campaign. Sometimes a campaign has great results and you can't replicate it (you have to design from 0). It could use some more templates.

Cons:
You cannot do custom segmentations inside the app.
Templates are limited.
Deliverability takes too much time.
No automations.
Pros:

Pretty basic email app. Does the job 80% of the time. Noticed that if you send an email to an app that supports dark mode on IOS your style is completely broken.

There are not as many features as Mailchimp or others, but how can you beat the price! The app is easy to use and reliable. For future improvements - I would really like to have the ability to ad a divider line.

Easy to setup, manage and track how well each one does. Limited by the number of emails you can send per month with base account.
