First I thought: GREAT! and it already is, but I thought there will be more included, than just the newsletter tool... Forms, Automation e-mails etc.
But no. That would be so great, to handle it all in shopify directly without any third party.

I usually use MailChimp or Direct Mail. I wanted to try the integration with Shopify. While it is easy to use, it appears limited in report data and ability to create alternate campaigns, although I am still working through it so will update with additional feedback once I have used it more and have additional feedback.

We wanted to be more integrated as a shop, so we pulled our email list into Shopify Email. It was easy to use, but without many features I have come to love from other email newsletter platforms. The list of fonts is very disappointing, and I would love to see a line break option (a simple line to drop in between sections of a newsletter). With some more options like this, as well as the option to size the photos, I think this could work really well for us. As it is, it worked fine!

I like the cool animated graphic but wish I could also customize the email a bit more with adding images of my own.

On the face of it, the app looks good and easy to use. The issue is there is not a way to bypass customers who accept marketing setting. Some emails are marketing and customers need to consent. Other emails are non-marketing, eg status update, website down and these non-marketing emails do not need to rely on consent. Can only leave 3 stars due to lack of scope when sending emails.
