Shopify Messaging

The default template configuration does not allow for html coding or liquid changes. This is an oversight.

I have been generally happy with the Messaging App. It is relatively simple to use; not at all expensive and effective at getting my emails out to my customer/subscriber base.
Some of the technical stuff - photo/video type; page layout etc is a bit beyond my skills. Tutorials or webinars would probably be helpful, but there are some work arounds that I have found that help.

Makes it much easier to keep contact with your customers.

I use it for product drops and sale announcements - but I've just learned to incorporate BLOGS, so I'll partner those blogs with Messaging to announce their publishing.

Overall good experience! I wish there was a way to have a unified header and footer template to expedite emails. Also, I wish the editor was like the Pages editor, more free flowing, where I could have my text then insert variables like FirstName, Product, CartItem, discounts, etc...

We are updating and optimizing our store. Sidekick has been very useful heping with Liquid Coding, generated images & text editing.

Mediocre, basic analytics don't work and is not well integrated with Shopify.
What's the point of having a fully integrated app that cannot pull any stats from what you are sending out? Seems like a Shopify thing.
Also falls advertiesment on the description, the track results part doesn't work nor register properly.

I’ve found Shopify Messaging really easy to use, especially for setting up automated emails without needing anything too technical. The templates are clean, the editor is straightforward, and I like being able to manage welcome emails, abandoned cart messages and customer follow-ups all in one place.

It’s saved me a lot of time as a small business owner, and the emails look professional without needing hours of design work. I’m still building out some of my automations, but so far it’s been reliable and simple to work with. Definitely a useful app if you want to stay in touch with customers and create a better experience after they visit or purchase from your store.

Absolutely brilliant app! It's incredibly easy to use and has saved me so much time when working on my store. The features are straightforward, the results look professional, and everything works seamlessly. I would recommend it to any small business owner looking to improve their store without needing lots of technical knowledge. A well deserved five stars!
