It is Amazing what can be done - but it is a good thing you have Sidekick - as others are truly mystifying - confusing - etc. Usually fixed in a jiffy, but when it takes 30mins-3hrs - I want to leave and find another platform. Then I look at my website and think what a work of art (created myself) - call it a day and comeback later for more amazement (or punishment) - surprise - I never know which.
Not easy to get right in terms of deliverablity (into spam folders!).
For high open rates, use white background. Create segment with one test address, send for mail merge test, otherwise the merge field will not merge properly and you don't really know for sure that it works.
Duplicate sent email for new draft with final segment.
That will make it work reliably.
The editing options are a little limiting and the designs are very basic.

It does the job, but I can't use CTRL+Z for text editing and I can't send a single email to multiple different segments at the same time, I have to duplicate and select a different Segment which is silly.
Great app to have.
I moved over to this because it was well priced, and just made more sense than the other service I was using for product promotion. Overall I think it was the right move, but there are still a lot of missing features.
One, it only tracks link clicks for products. But why? If using for a broader campaign why not show link clicks for all links?
It also has limitations for how many blocks you can use, which was a struggle. Should I really have to choose if I have room for a button or an image?
The app is missing some blocks I'd expect it to have, too. Like a poll, a form or a quote. Or the ability to embed a link like a Pin or social video that isn't YouTube or Vimeo.
I'll stick with this because what I do love: audience segmenting, on-platform ease, tracking of conversions, etc. But hoping and crossing fingers for upgrades.
