Had to hire a so called "SHOPIFY EXPERT" to fix all the code for this template to work. They said no problem, 2 days. Took 2 weeks.
Still does not look 100%. How do you even adjust the font size. It's so small it is hard to read. Not happy, why fix something that was not broken in the first place... Do better!

There is zero support to customize invoices and no simple transfer. Support will forward you to the help documents (that you have probably already read) that do not make it easy on someone who has no real coding experience. When you press support for further help, they will forward you to a Shopify service that you'll need to pay for.
The least they can do is create a library of functional templates for their customers. However, it doesn't seem like too much to ask for a template builder.
Maybe they should consider fully flushing out their apps before launch? They have done another half-attempt at an app we tried --for subscriptions. Why waste the effort making a terrible product?
Thank you for your feedback! This app is intended to offer better performance than the previous version, so we want to make sure it works well for your business. I'm happy to share your thoughts with our developers for consideration in future updates. -Sophia, Shopify Support
Shopify forcing the migration without putting any measures in place to help support template migration is a joke. Shopify is not the company they were 10 years ago, absolute travesty.
*** UPDATE *** Using the app further it is far and above a DOWNGRADE from the previous Order Printer app. Shopify is USELESS in assisting with migrating order templates. I have had to figure out liquid coding on my own and even then it barely works. This app is terrible and Shopify should be ashamed for their complete and utter failure to migrate effectively. Shopify is a shell of what it once was.
Hello! Thank you for your feedback and your review. We do have some information on transferring templates over to the new app in our Help Center here: https://shopify.link/18NL.
We updated the app to improve its performance, but we can completely understand how changes like this can impact merchants. I'm happy to pass this feedback on to our team who looks into improvements we can make. - Moira, Shopify Support
Doesn't Work with Shopify POS GO... they really need to update the app to allow you to print the document. You get stuck at the print screen and it doesn't engage the print module.

POOR Product rollout! Programming experience over 30 years and took me a day and a half to re configure the template we use. The Shopify Help Center documentation is inconstant: 'weight' variable' to be changed to 'grams' for some reason, then farther down is says change 'grams' to 'weight' . Proofing and ask the question 'WHY' do we need to change the variable name seems to be a needed thing. Also, WHY would you put pricing on the shipper template?
Also, one of the reasons you say the changes were needed was to save paper and ink. Well, Your new invoice template was printing a blank sheet of paper before printing the invoice. I expect better quality control from Shopify and feel bad for the MANY that now have to pay someone to try and RE Fix their templates so they can become usable again.
Hi there. Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback, we truly appreciate it. JUNE 24 - While we were able to successfully import our template from the legacy app, there is still coding adjustments required (layout is not the same, scaling is off, header is gone). We uninstalled and re-installed the app thinking it was an import snafu, but we are still having this issue. We are eager to make this transition but need to import our template exactly as it appears on the legacy app. Please assist, we have not gotten a response from Shopify support.
JUNE 6 - As a long-time user of the legacy app, we were initially optimistic about transitioning to the newer version, however our experience has left us disappointed.
The primary issue stems from the incompatibility between our custom template, which was meticulously crafted to suit our specific needs, and the new app. Despite reaching out to Shopify's support team, who were indeed helpful in their assistance, the ultimate verdict was disheartening: our template is simply "not compatible" with the new app.
The lack of compatibility and the requirement for coding knowledge makes it inaccessible and impractical for users like us. I sincerely hope that future updates will address these issues and make the transition smoother.

Spoke to live chat, need to wait for the theme team to get back to me, when will this happen? having extreme troubles printing today and no one can help as we aren't in USA business hours. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. not sure why you changed it 118 one star reviews says it all. How about you listen to your paying customers???**
Why fix something that wasn't broken, typical shopify, works on things that aren't required, still haven't come up with a concept to know when an order has been downloaded / printed, I had to create my own tags to say last printed, pity that cant work on other things in the back end like being able to sort products by price, can live on the website, but not in the back end for editing prices, only asked 5 times over 2 years, get told thats a great idea, guess they are too big too listen

Does not work properly. The templates from the legacy were perfect, and I've used them or years. I migrated the templates per instructions, but the order number is missing, as well as the date and email fields. Not great. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. And if you're going to fix it, make sure you have a solution that works. This is not it guys. Horrible, huge misstep.

This should be a smooth transfer from the old app to the new one but it's not. The import templet function does not work and when we try to print orders in bulk every couple pages is messed up and split between two pieces of paper. They really need to implement some support for this app or fine tune it and rerelease.
Hi there! Thanks for sharing your feedback with us here. We may be able to provide some customisation support for your templates via our Themes team, if you can reach out using our Help Centre here: (https://shopify.link/7PNJ). -Don, Shopify Support
Wow, what a disappointment. The original Order Printer was certainly not the best, but I presume most of us eventually got it to work and considered that a sunk cost.
Years later and this is what you've got? You have to be kidding! I'm hours into it and I still can't get decent results, the templates are lousy and it has been super flaky, sometimes completely failing to load.
This clearly comes down to an absolutely poorly managed Product Management group. There appears to be absolutely no voice of customer at Shopify. Who in the world asked for this? Wake up Shopify! When your own app can't even get a 2.0 rating something is broken, that starts with Product Management. Fix It!
Someone should be held accountable.
