I have custom invoice template design but this Order Printer app doesn't let me use it. Shopify will stop running the old Shopify Order Printer app soon which allows me to use the custom invoice template, and they are asking me to switch to this one. I don't want to switch to the worse ver.
Please don't make things worse.

No doubt it does something other than waste my time recreating templates that fit our workflows (which is possible, but tiresome). I've knocked off another star for it no longer putting an order number in PDF filenames.

I would NOT recommend this app. I have been forced to swap from the old order printer (legacy) to this new rubbish Shopify Order Printer. They gave instructions on how to migrate your old template over but I'm not familiar with coding so I can't do it. My invoice is missing things like gst, the shipping address, the discount amount, notes and other things.
Very unhappy!!!!!

Why did you make it so hard to import existing templates?
The Original Order Printer wasn't broken - why fix it? Ok, so fix it, but make it easy for your customers to use it by auto importing our existing templates. This is a nightmare.

To migrate your templates, you need to copy your template's code from the legacy app, and then paste the code into the new app. However, the new Shopify Order Printer app has a slightly different implementation than the legacy Order Printer app. This means that some of your existing templates might not work initially, and you might need to make some adjustments to your template's code. VERY difficult to migrate, cannot find any way to customize anything. Instructions for migrating are lacking. Printer preview is not accurate. I've installed/uninstalled multiple times but cannot get setting to show as described in the instructions.

I was unsettled by the many bad recessions. But I didn't let that stop me from trying. After 10 minutes it was done and everything runs as smooth as it did before. I found it easy to migrate my templates. But I am very interested in programming and so I am able to read, understand and edit html or other codes. So I agree - a user without any programming background may find this very difficult and will need further instructions or help.

Much better than the previous app, formatting for printing actually works. I regret that logo and product pics aren't on the invoices by default though.

Bad move. Needs lots of time to set new tamplate, specially if you don't have skills to do it. If somebody is happy with new order printer app - just support two apps. I don't like at all the new invoice look.

My template, even after importing does not even have basic things like shipping amts, totals etc. The time spent on this is crazy, wasted.
