After the many bad reviews, with bad comments that the templates cannot be imported or are difficult to import, they have worked on it and sent an info mail that it now works with a click. It worked now perfectly. In less than 5 minutes the new app and templates were installed. Working perfectly for over a month. Then it was removed from "more actions" to "print" and now it cannot be edited anymore. So it became completly useless!
Still waiting on a reply which now seems closed on something as simple as a page break. Did some coding on my forms and they all work apart from Page Breaks which worked perfectly in Legacy.
I have forms that need to be printed and signed.
Why can't this have been tested first. Poor show!

Very little support documentation, and why would this app be released befoer they had a way of importing the old templates? Get your ducks in a row first before releasing this nonsense upon us. Poor effort from Shopify who should be leading the way in professionalism in this regard. Apparently they have no regard for their customers who then have to run around in circles trying to work out what on earth has been thrust upon them. Certainly not an upgrade nor an improvement.

over the years Shopify has made some changes that have not been helpful for us. This change takes time to get use to but right off the top the change has been helpful in terms of toner usage. The new format takes less toner to print as the bold lines used on the old format are gone. I do like the new format and like that the "packing slip" is labeled as such.
Good to see the developers at shopify listened to how bad the first release of this app was. Recently, last week I think it was, there was a new import from templates put in place and I have to say, it is now exactly how all my old custom templates were and works how it should. I am happy with this new implemented import that they have done.
Initially it wasn't easy to figure out the changes, but after figuring out it is working great better than before.
Latest changes to the order printer app have resulted in the invoice backgrounds being printed gray and not white as they were previous to the updates.
Very annoying.

This app is just ok. If you don't understand HTML which I have limited knowledge on, its going to be hard to edit the format of the invoice/packing slip. I do like how we can edit this with a lot of variables because our invoice requires more things than just a standard invoice but it takes some time to understand how each variable is supposed to be formatted in HTML.
My one feature suggestion is to be able to email a PDF version of the invoice to customers more easily than just saving it as a PDF each time and emailing it manually. This would save us so much time.

There is zero support to customize invoices and no simple transfer. Support will forward you to the help documents (that you have probably already read) that do not make it easy on someone who has no real coding experience. When you press support for further help, they will forward you to a Shopify service that you'll need to pay for.
The least they can do is create a library of functional templates for their customers. However, it doesn't seem like too much to ask for a template builder.
Maybe they should consider fully flushing out their apps before launch? They have done another half-attempt at an app we tried --for subscriptions. Why waste the effort making a terrible product?
