Facebook Messenger Marketing

Not only was this app ineffective but after trying to cancel my service it took 10 days for anyone to respond to me. Worse is that after removing the app the pop-up still appeared on my site. If customers entered their info they got a "Bad Gateway" error.

I contacted Shopify support but no one could help me. I was directed to message the developer again and then decided to try to find another way to solve this problem - I hope this helps other people...

Basically what I did was remove the authorization on Facebook so the app would no longer be connected to my FB page - here's how;

Click your profile picture in the top right of Facebook.
Select Settings & privacy, then click Settings.
Click Security and login in the left menu.
Click Apps and Websites in the left menu.
Scroll down to Preferences, then next to Apps, websites and games, click Turn Off.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE. Which is a shame as the App has potential to be very good. I installed it and the dashboard was easy to use, and I started getting some ROI, however, there was obviously an error with the install as after I closed down the dashboard - I couldn't access it again (it just kept loading a blank page). I contacted them several times and they just kept sending me links of "How to make it work" all the links directed me to the "dashboard". Happy to change this review if they can fix the problem.
