Etsy Inventory sync by shopUpz

I tried this app after being dissatisfied with the lack of support when I encountered a problem with a different Etsy sync app. This app is very straight forward, and I was able to get very quick help via Facebook messenger within the hour when I needed help setting it up. I would recommend this app!

The BEST app for orders integration. And I already checked 5 others.
I talked with Shirley and asked her to guide me through on how to make integration for the orders without affecting the listings at all, she was very patient and clear with the instructions.
It worked perfectly. So simple, I am still surprised.

I really wanted to love this app however it has major issues with syncing quantities between Etsy and Shopify. My only use for this app was quantity syncing so I cannot speak for importing/exporting.

It had been more than 24 hours since sales occurred and the quantities were not syncing. Keep in mind the advertised sync time is 15-20 minutes. The first time I noticed the issue I reached out via shopify support and received a response almost immediately. Shirly said she resolved the issue and that it was “A configuration issue” that they fixed on their end to adjust with my account. I also verified that I did everything correctly and it was not a user error.

However, this fix did not last long. The very next day I had the same issue and reached out again via the same email thread from before, no response. The issue resolved itself after many hours.

Here we are a few days later and the exact same thing is happening. I reached out for the third time via Shopify Support, no response. It’s been 2+ days since sales have occurred and quantities are not updating unless I manually change them, which defeats the purpose of my use for the app.

I gave it a fair shot, unfortunately it can not provide the advertised bi-directional syncing I was looking for so I’ll be removing it. Shirly was helpful and kind in the first instance that I talked to her, however I can’t exactly give good ratings for long term customer support as I did not receive a response the following two times.

I paid for a service that it could not provide and am left disappointed. Hopefully they’re able to fix the issues with their app.

We changed from another app because this app is cheaper, and this was a mistake because you can only export 10 products at a time and you need to select them manually not in bulk or in one click as they claim in the ad, We contacted support to ask if there was another way to upload and we are still waiting for a response.

Not a single item synced from my Etsy store to my Shopify store. I sent a message but since I sent a message a couple weeks ago that wasn't answered I don't expect this one to be answered either. Update, just found out you can't import from etsy to shopify, really wish I had known that earlier.

I downloaded the app in order to sync new products over to Etsy and to sync real-time inventory levels. Unfortunately it doesn't sync the products over, just inventory levels so it's not what I'm after. However, it's got five stars from me because it does sync the stock really well. The customer support was instant also. I think that $19 a month just to sync stock numbers is excessive considering there are apps on the store that do everything that I need for multiple platforms (not just Shopify and Etsy) at a slightly higher cost, however if you are willing to pay this for just inventory levels syncing, the app works fine.
