Etsy items move to a "sold out" status when the inventory is depleted. After ordering items and updating the quantity of items on Shopify the application incorrectly zeroed out the quantity of items on Shopify. Shirly insists it's a feature of the application instead of a bug.

Hey, our mission is to align quantities between the stores so you will not oversell. You requested to keep selling on Shopify and not on Etsy. In this case you need to change the SKUs so we will not sync those listings , or to set Etsy listing to inactive/draft.

Please note that Etsy and Shopify have gaps when it comes to inventory management. Etsy doesn't allow to set quantity zero and it marks the listing as sold out. When a listing goes into sold out status it means that it's out of stock and we update Shopify to zero so clients will not oversell. This is our primary mission.
As explained in our email threads we will not be able to update Etsy sold out listings on Shopify with quantity >0 , it's our design strategy.

I've seen that you used the app for several months also for order sync , export listings and sync quantities and it worked successfully as expected.
Service is my top priority and I'm happy to address any need that helps to upgrade our app anytime as long as it aligns with our client needs and common use cases.

App works great for inventory syncing between Etsy and Shopify. Customer service is very quick and helpful.

UPDATE: This application has quite a bit of potential, but the price does not match the quality of the application. The application and the amount of manual oversite needed to integrate into Shopify are very overpriced for what it offers. The support is very attentive but a little slow.

Additionally, the programming staff does try to add new features if you request, so that is a positive.

The only thing I cannot accept is the forced override of our Shopify inventory. As many users have mentioned, their feature of removing inventory when you restock on Shopify is very inconvenient. Instead of updating items sold out on Etsy with the newly added Shopify inventory, this application will force you to delete your Shopify inventory to match the SOLD OUT status on Etsy. You must delete all sold-out items on Etsy each time to avoid your Shopify store being completely sold out.

If they were to fix this issue and lower the price instead of being stubborn and not listening to their users, this application would be worth it.

Thank you for your reply. You are still using the app and find it useful for your needs. I've also provided you a refund in the past after explaining about Etsy API limitation regarding sold out and as mentioned you still decide to use it. We are working hard developing the best easy to use app for unlimited orders , quantity sync and export listings with a click of a button :-)

Quick and simple to set up. Easy enough to use and it's saving us time! Shirly's great at responding and advising solutions, super efficient and helpful - thank you!!
We tried another app before finding ShopUpz and it wasn't as good as this! Highly recommend!

Great app. Its incredibly easy to use. I was apple to add all of the inventory easily to my etsy shop from an another shop.

My only critique at the moment is the price. For a start up company, it is difficult to pay for several apps and subscriptions. I will subscribe again in the future when we get up and running.
