This company is changing its rules all the time. The had a fault in their system where not all my shops were charged. They then made all the past orders ineligible for charge back so I could not claim charge back for orders that they approved as valid. They charge me every month for the service but when I receive a charge back on an order that they said was okay to ship they always have an excuse and/or a new rule on why it isn't covered. Not sure what I am paying for? Avoid this service at all costs.

They advertise "Never charge a charge back again" False and misleading!!
They are refusing to cover a charge back i have and are now making up excuses.

BEWARE! We are a very high volume retail store + Shopify Plus Merchant, and work with quite a few applications, even during early beta stages. We have been a long time user of Signifyd, basically using their rating system to make final decisions on orders that were borderline cases. Recently we decided to try their guarantee option on some higher valued orders. Unfortunately we received a chargeback for one case that was approved + guaranteed.

We followed all the guidelines and opened a reimbursement case, and this is where their true colors show.

1. 6 days after filing our case, we never received a response from their team. We sent 2 followup emails with no responses as well.

2. On the 9th day we checked the case again, and they labeled the case is ineligible because it has been past 30 days since they asked for more information. How does that make sense? We only opened the case 9 days ago.

Now If you are going to use their system to just to just review information, the platform works fine, but if want to use their chargeback guarantee option, we highly recommend to stay away. This application is definitely too good to be true.


This app is a complete scam, so far I've paid them $941.05 to be exact and not 1 if my chargebacks within 6 months fit into their very one sided and narrow criteria of a " Chargeback ". Fraudsters have gotten smarter and the the Most common chargeback I've experienced are " product not received " which are not covered by Signifyd.... For obvious reason... Fraudsters are bolder these days and use their own cards ship it to their own house and then tell their credit issuer they have not received the product even if you have signature required its a 50/50 chance you will lose these claims. At the end of the day Signifyd knows what it is doing by only asking for 1% of your sales because theres 1% chance any of your chargebacks will even getting covered by them. This service is worth no more that 9.99 a month as a security app you use to do your own background check on customers payments and try your luck. The whole " chargeback guarantee " is a SCAM.


Everything started perfectly working for the 1st couple of months, however when 4 chargebacks came, they payed them off correctly but the system simply started to red flagg more than 50% of my orders. When i contacted customer support they said its because the system learns from the fraud orders, Maybe it has to do that my store is in Mexico, but they did told me they were able to provide the service perfectly in my country.


This is a computer program, not a real person looking at the information. When I agreed to the plan I was promised personal assistance to input the data from orders that where a couple days old and high security risk.
I waited half the day for the decision but no one actually inputs data. Its a computer program, so I was told by support I had to enter the information myself. The orders I received after installing the program get entered automatically. Now its been almost a month. The program guarantees the Low Risk Only, Denied medium and high risk. Even denied guarantee the prepaid credit card payment.
The website/app doesn't not work on my smart phone. Today went to look at the website and see I have 10 previous Cases but can't view them. How would know which orders are guaranteed or denied if I can't see the history? I'm cancelling this. I can do better on my own with the information I already get from shopify.

Worthless. These reviews must be fake or these people are delusional. They won't guarantee an order unless there's no doubt it's legit - so what's the point of giving them a cut since Shopify itself does a good job of telling you that??


After long collaboration and business, the team Signifyd has stopped from providing their services and to protect our Shopify shop from fraud. We have requested help to cover losses from an order with more than $3000 but what we got back was a suspended account. Final conclusion, if you need Chargeback cover for small payments, Signifyd is for you, if you are dealing with big payments keep looking for other Chargeback Protection application.
