Signifyd

We've used this app since 2015. It was set up to only look at direct Shopify store orders and ignore eBay orders, PayPal payments and other non-Shopify direct sales. All was fine until we received our June 2026 bill, which was about 30% higher than normal. Come to find out, they stopped filtering out these orders. By the time we realized what was happening, we could not cancel the orders older than 30 days. We tried 4 or 5 times to contact the support people, but they never responded. For now, we are manually canceling these orders, but I think we will just remove the app since Shopify now has their own fraud detection and it's free.

8/23/2026 Still have not heard any reply from Signifyd. I also noticed a few days ago that when a customer cancels and order, Signifiyd does not cancel it in their system, so it seems they will charge you whether or not you process the order (unless you manually cancel it).

Working with Signifyd and Spencer our assigned team Manager has been an absolute dream. Spencer is consistently cooperative, responsive, and incredibly easy to partner with. Every challenge we've faced (from fraudulent orders to chargebacks and everything in between) has been handled with complete ease with Signifyd. We just upgraded our platform and plan as we have been with them for 5 years and things are evolving daily and it was time and were happy with the changes ahead for the future of our company lets go ready for another 5.
