SimplyCost ‑ Profit Analytics

Absolutely fantastic, really helps me to keep on top of my profit and ensure my P&L is accurate. Definitely recommend this to others who are struggling to determine exactly what they are making.

This is a great App at a reasonable price. I have been using it for a while and it has solved my Cost of Goods issues. Great support with a number of suggestions taken on board.

Love this app for the simple fact that I did inventory for my taxes in about 30 seconds! I trust my online inventory counts and had no idea how to access them without this app - it calculates your number of pieces in inventory, amount you paid, and amount of profit you will gain. Available CSV downloads as well - so worth it! I also love seeing how much profit I made in a given month. Only wish was that I could figure out how to more accurately input my shipping costs per transaction, but now I use the shipping feature on Shopify and hoping that is calculated now that it is linked. Great app!

I'm really enjoying this app as it cuts down a ton of accounting work I have to do every single month!

Brilliant App! Gives me a true ideal of my profit after the cost of goods sold, shipping and any tax payable is deducted from our income. Has great reports too, so I can now see my profit of certain products, vendors, sku's which are all exportable! You are also able to view the current value of your stock, with it's potential revenue and profit. You can also see the profitability percentage of individual products, orders and all these reports can be applied to your archived past orders too!

Did have issues with the csv upload so I we was forced to unfortunately manually upload the cost prices of products and then individual apply again to all products previously sold in past orders. (Approx 900 products within 8000 orders took the majority of the day).

Having said that the support was excellent and personal with almost immediate responses, and help was given with my manual uploads and my data was double checked for me to make sure I hadn't missed anything (Thanks).

I would like to add that all though it took sometime it was so worth it and to be honest having to go through it all gave me a much better understanding of both the app and it functions as well amy own COGS. Having it on a spreadsheet somewhere is all well and good but I now know them all from memory!

UPDATE: I've been using Simply cost for about a year now and it's my favorite app without a doubt. If you're wondering which app to use - use this one!

Works Great. I am using this to quick compare products profit loss. Definitely going to keep using it.

This app makes it really easy to see what your actual profit margins are. It’s simple to install and the reports are far better than what Shopify gives you. The “current inventory” value is also very useful for tracking overall inventory cost.

Updating my review months later: EXTREMELY happy with this app, and the customer support has been top notch. App is priced really fairly too!
