Regarding sitemap submissions, the app does not create harmful “SEO noise” or negatively impact rankings simply by updating sitemap data in Google Search Console. Sitemap updates are a normal part of keeping search engines informed about store changes, especially on active Shopify stores. However, every store’s SEO structure is different, and proper configuration is important.
