A great app, you can set and forget it to ease your mind regarding GDPR compliance. Comes with every setting you would need, without being confusing.

This app is very easy to setup and get going, simple to customize so it will match your store theme and at a low cost. Highly recommend this app to anyone that has a store that serves customers in the EU.
Very easy to setup and one of the few that actually supports proper GDPR handling. Could have a few more styling options.
Great app, the best so far for GDPR compliance and Ed was so helpful when i was having trouble adding code for Facebook and Google Analytics. It makes it so easy to control cookies and love that it can be customised - all for a great price! Highly recommend.
Nice app, very simple to use and easily customisable. Have installed onto 2 stores with no problems. Happy to pay for it so that we can access cookie compliance data. The only reason I haven't given it a full 5 stars is simply because there's no way for users to view the cookies and self-manage their opt-in/out...if this could be added as part of the apps development plan that would be great - very happily pay for this functionality to be completely compliant with GDPR! Updated: Thank you. I've received your emails and read the reply to this review. I appreciate the reply and fix. Previous Review: I've emailed support team in the past, via "support link" or the gmail email address they provide in the app. I've never received a response yet. They recently included a new feature in the app, 'Enable GDPR-compliant analytics' which seems to relate to a new console error I'm receiving from our site. I get a status 400 error from file 'set_tracking_consent.json' which, according to Shopify Support, the app is failing for smarteucookinbanner.upsell-apps even when agreeing to cookie consent.

Luckily that 400 status response is just a console warning from a Shopify API that was recently released, and wasn't causing any slowdowns or errors. The banner was still displaying, waiting for consent, and tracking acceptance.
Shopify just launched their Customer Privacy API at the start of the month, which is an API that lets our banner tell 3rd party apps when a user has consented to tracking. When the API left beta, Shopify changed the API behavior to render a 400 response if you interact with it when it's not necessary.
I just deployed an update to the banner, so now we only call the API endpoint when it's necessary. You won't see that console error anymore, and fortunately you don't need to change anything so we should be all set!

There is a flaw in the app. Customer service doesn't respond to emails. Would not recommend this app!!
I like this service of banners! I is great to have this as the store runs on the UK web too! It is better to have it on the Center.
So far, working perfectly. Easy to install and good customisation. Haven't seen any other app which actually allows customers to give positive consent.
