Simon in customer service was incredibly helpful—I’d definitely give him five stars!
One suggestion for improvement: when users choose to have TinySEO optimize their images, it would be really helpful if there were a pop-up or warning that says something like:
"Your existing image alt text will be overwritten, but don't worry—we can restore it if needed."
I was pretty frustrated when I realized my carefully written alt text had been replaced. I even started restoring it manually before mentioning the issue while chatting with Shopify AI about an unrelated Judge.me problem. Thankfully, it suggested that TinySEO might be able to restore my original alt text, and Simon was able to help.
If I'd known restoration was possible—or had simply been warned beforehand—it would have saved me a lot of unnecessary stress and work.

We do mention in our onboarding that if you activate ALT text optimization that ALT texts will be optimized and in our pricing window we mention that all image optimizations made can be restored for 30 days.
I understand that It can be missed so I'll work with my team to check how we can improve the visibility of those two mentions.

The platform offers exceptional clarity and user-friendliness. What truly stands out is the JS/CSS optimization that preserves site templates and functionality without any errors.
My only reservation, which costs this otherwise excellent product one star, is the limited flexibility of the JSON-LD data schema when attempting to incorporate additional structures or custom values.
SUPPORT is very knowledgeable and accessible. Tested five other SEO apps, and I found this the simplest. Yoast and Avada left code after uninstall, and it was cleaned up by support. Solved residual problems.
uns wurde die App empfohlen um die Fotos von jpeg in Webp umzuwandeln. Was - wie sich raus stellte - gar nicht geht.
Zudem haben wir seit dem die App installiert war, massive Probleme: Fotos und PDFs sind reihenweise verschwunden. Weg. Nicht mehr im Shopify Datei Ordner. Direkt wieder deainstalliert, da völlig unbrauchbar.
Update: Der Entwickler hat sich gemeldet und versichert, dass diese App keine Fotos löschen kann. Es sein ein Zufall.
Für uns war/Ist es nicht anders zu erklären.
Zudem wurde uns erklärt, dass es gar nicht nötig sein (entgegen der Empfehlung der SEO Agentur) die Fotos von jpeg in WEBP umzuwandeln.
Dies mache Shopify selbständig...
Für uns ist die App dennoch nicht notwenig. Der Support ist aber sehr gut und von daher ist die Bewertung natürlich nicht mehr nur 1*

Für uns gibt es keinen Grund, PNG-/JPG-Bilder in WebP zu konvertieren. Shopify übernimmt das auf Anfrage. Sie sollten Ihre Bilder immer im PNG-/JPG-Format hochladen. Weitere Informationen dazu finden Sie hier: cdn.shopify.com.
Außerdem habe ich den zweiten Teil der Rezension nicht ganz verstanden. Wir bearbeiten keine PDF-Dateien oder Dateien in Laufwerksabschnitten.

Thank you for the kind words. Sadly optimizing videos is a really difficult and resource intensive teask. So we had not implemented this feature yet.
But our team is always ready to help you with manually optimizing videos and picking the best optimization options for them!
Very nice support, great support they were responsive and friendly. Image compression works great highly recommend that feature. However the lazy load is incorrectly implemented it lazy loads everything or nothing. Images above the fold should not be lazy loaded per UX standards. This is not an option with this plugin.

Our customer support offers above the fold manual lazy loading removal after our lazy loading installation. It's not possible to do automatically, but we do that manually!
Simon has helped you with the product page lazy loading even If It was not applied by our app (It was skipped).
