Great app, will definitely improve your store in google rankings. Amazing customers service, they care about their clients to make sure they use 100% potential of app. I would recommended SMART SEO to every store owners, definitely worthy.

Beware I deleted this app and they are still taking money out of my account . And not able to contact anyone .

Update : Smart SEO contacted me and worked with me to get my money back . They would not stop with shopify till I got the money . I was wrong about this company .

Software is great, has been really invaluable to my SEO for my site. Most importantly the customer service is top notch, literally the best I have every experienced. I really want to commend Todor, for excellent customer service, and going above and beyond what I would expect. He has been extremely helpful on both of my Shopify Stores. I highly recommend this software and more so the customer service.

This is a very good, very useful app to clean up your SEO. It's clean, it's nice, it's well coded, it's got educational videos, and support is very responsive and helpful.

I cannot emphasize how important good keywords and SEO is for a Shopify store to increase sales. Shopify does not index well so you need to work to figure out the right keywords and SEO meta for better search results. Some strategic planning is necessary and if you have a lot of products, expect a bit of heavy tedious work, but in the end it brings nothing but good results. Smart SEO helps a lot to reduce that work load.

My only downvote would be the lack of option to automate product title to alt tags, and the lack of information where to edit errors found in scheme and rich snippets, for example. I also find the AI feature quite weak or useless in some respects; it should allow automated propagation of the product title to save on time. I also wish they had a different pricing structure as I find the price a little heavy for small stores; maybe a one time price to fix issues could be an attractive option.

But all in all Smart SEO is a good app. Google ads requires a steep budget nowadays to give good results which doesn't help small shops, so apps like Smart SEO is crucial to increase sales. I've trippled my sales by cleaning up meta tags and keywords.

We encountered coding issues and reached out to support. Todor and Rado guided us through the problems, providing clear explanations and visual representations of how things should work. We gave Rado access to our website theme, and he made the necessary adjustments, allowing our products to be listed again within 24 hours. After using the Smart SEO app for about 3 months, I’m disappointed to say that it simply did not meet my expectations. Despite being on the Business Plan, the app failed to deliver the promised improvements, and I’m now happily deleting it.

Meta Tags: The app’s approach to meta tags is overly simplistic, focusing only on character counts without taking content relevance or focus keywords into account. This made it difficult to optimize for SEO properly, and the results were underwhelming.

Alt Image Attributes: The alt image feature was basic, and I didn’t notice any significant impact on SEO. There was no advanced functionality or customization to help tailor alt tags for my products effectively.

Page Speed: One of my major concerns was page speed, which is critical for SEO performance. Unfortunately, the app made no noticeable improvements in this area. Despite multiple tests, my site’s loading time remained the same.

JSON-LD and Structured Data: I encountered frequent issues with the JSON-LD structured data, which led to errors in Google Search Console. These problems persisted without resolution, making my SEO efforts more difficult.

Broken Links: The broken links feature was essentially useless. Google Search Console continued to report thousands of broken links, and the app didn’t help in fixing them. This added to the frustration of managing my site’s SEO.

Sitemap Submission: I had recurring issues with submitting my sitemap to Google Search Console through the app. It either failed to submit or disconnected frequently, causing more issues than it solved.

Overall: In the end, Smart SEO proved to be more trouble than it was worth. It didn’t deliver on its promises, and after about 3 months of trying to make it work, I’m happily deleting the app and moving on to better solutions. I wouldn’t recommend this app to other Shopify users based on my experience.
