I got a sale from Smartr Mail in less than 24hrs of using it. Easy to use. Great app! Everyone must install it!

I have used a number of services including mailchimp, klavio and springbot. It may well be proven that the other options provide more reporting analysis and features but here is my view.

I am a small business (however when I say small - £1 million turnover and 5000 subs). For years I have struggled to find a product that enables me to send emails quickly, efficiently, easily. THIS product does it.

There is a really nice weekly auto email that goes out keeping your customers coming back which is a nice feature.

Segmenting and auto flows are available so all manner of follow up emails can be created - its down to your imagination to make it work.

Equally as importantly the customer service is superb. I have regularly used the chat and received prompt support - they even reproduced an email for me which I had created in the wrong section and was concerned I would have the time to duplicate it in the right section.

A very very friendly support system and a product that sits JUST RIGHT in terms of ease of use and feature set. Why have tons of features that you just cannot fathom or make time for as a busy business owner with limited time.

Finally.... cost.... OMG.... Nearly forgot! This costs PENNIES in comparison to Klaviyo and Springbot. Flat fee per month covers any normal level of use which is a fraction of the price of competing services.

Hope this proves helpful for other small businesses making a very difficult choice on how to develop the email marketing.

Update:
If you are switching from MC, be extremely careful using SM automatic list import feature, dont use it at all. Its importing your unsubscribers as well Also SM creating accounts for them on your Shopify and mark them as accepting marketing and resulting in messing up your data. ----------------------------- I choose this app because it was the most reasonably priced email platform out there. Other options were ridiculously expensive. Simple to use decent app. However there are some issues needs to be addressed by their team. Once I switched from MC using their automated tool, they imported my unsubscribes as well and mark them as subscribers. For that reason my first email got very high amount of complaints. Secondly they created accounts on my Shopify for those emails accounts that unsubsribed and marked them as subscribers on Shopify , which is not good if I decide to switch platforms in the future. If they improve their platform and make it more sleek and without glitches, while not increasing prices , they would do very well. Also a better pop up email collection feature would be nice.

Thanks for the feedback. I believe our team already let you know that we quickly fixed the issue with the Mailchimp importer. For the customers that were affected, we'll reach out to sort that out. You can upload a list of the unsubscribes into Shopify and it will fix the issue.

We also do have a new popup on the way this year! We'll be sure to let you know when it's live 😊

I use the pop-up and the emails to welcome new customers. The abandon cart emails are super helpful too!

So far, so good! simple to use and gets the job done. Plus lots of other features i have yet to explore.

I use it for automations. It's quite customizable and it's user friendly. The only thing is that it takes me longer to set up emails than with other apps because of all the options or steps. If it was even simpler I would use it for all the newsletters. I also thing I cannot track the conversion from the emails send from this app because it's not natively integrated- Perhaps I'm wrong! Anyway I would recommend it and I'll keep using it :)

Totally loving this email app. It's just "Smart"! The automated emails are so easy to set up and the smart segmenting very useful in targeting subscribers efficiently. The entire app is user friendly, intuitive and integrates with Shopify beautifully. Also their support staff has wonderful customer service!

My first email as really easy to do and support is there whenever it is needed. I found the programme quick to install and very easy to use.

Great except for these issues:
1. When I duplicate a newsletter, the size of images and border colors of buttons are different from the original newsletter. I've reached out several times and have been told to create from template. What is the purpose of the duplicate newsletter feature then?
2. When I duplicate a newsletter, it doesn't appear in the "Drafts" tab.

Thank you for your feedback, it looks like you experienced an issue with the "Copy as draft" option. The behavior described here is not the way SmartrMail is supposed to work, thank you for reporting this. As mentioned by our team through our in-app chat, this issue in your account was fixed on the 11th of September, allowing all your future "Copy as draft" actions to work as expected.
