So far very happy with smartrmail and their customer service. Really responsive & friendly! They always have an answer to my questions, so I really feel supported on a daily basis especially with us recently re-platforming to shopify and all the tasks that were required. thank you!

For complete beginners like me this was perfect. The chat support was wonderful from Nicolas who not only gave me support but also some friendly advice. Highly recommend!

Wanted to give it a try but it lacks a lot of customisation. You just can't blast customers at will with random products especially when we're not given any option as to what products that we do not want included. I have items in my shop that I wouldn't want sent but there's no way to change that. :/

Also definitely not worth $20 a month with the lack of customization. Pretty high for an app that randomly picks products that you have no control over.

We've added tons of new design customization features so your template can perfectly match your brand, along with controls and features where you can choose which products you want in your automations.

SmartRMail is great and easy to use. If provides beginners ideas on email marketing that they may not have thought of. The only downside is not being able to customize some features, such as the pop-up messages, thank you messages (unless you know code ...if it allows). I was limited to the number of words I could have on the pop-up and it omitted the last sentence of my messaging. It also did not provide a preview of what it would look like on mobile until it was live. Overall, fairly good for beginners.

Thank you for your feedback on our pop-up. As a matter of fact, we’re currently re-building our pop-up feature, allowing users to add longer pieces of text, more fields, more triggers, more design options etc. We’re aiming at pushing live this pop-up rework by the beginning of September. We hope that you’ll love the app even more once it is available.

In the meantime, note that we do integrate with specialized pop-up providers such as JustUno, Sumo, Wisepops and Optinmonster. All of these providers integrate with Shopify, and some of them offer free plans for stores just starting out.
We’ll remain available if anything comes up! 😊

Customer service was very poor after I installed the app. It took 12 or more hours to get an email response. The chat feature did not work. I am in the USA in Texas, and it appears that the customer service team is countries away judging by their response time. They seem to be off work during my working hours. I uninstalled the app because I need quicker response time.

Thanks for the feedback, we're a growing team and we're always trying to improve based on feedback. We hired a new Customer Support team member last month who will be available during business hours across the entire US so you get a response in under an hour 24/5.

Haven't used the app yet and am in the process of migrating our Shopify Store over from MailChimp. So far, customer Service has been very helpful and responsive.

We just started with SmartrMail, and so far the experience has been fabulous. I think the customer service is what sets this company apart. I have had several conversations with Moe, one of their great customer service reps. He has been very helpful. If this is the way they treat their customers, they'll have us for ever. If you're thinking about trying them... do it! You'll be glad you did.
