Not recommended at all. This app is just such a "pay-to-win" app type.. They have a really basic personalised points program, which does not allow you to make any little modification.
In my case, I reached out the max capacity of the starter plan and started considering upgrading to the 199€ / month, but wanted to see how a couple of new things would work inside of the app first. I found out you ...

Very intuitive app, works from day 1 with no friction. Its very user friendly but most importantly, I had a few doubts to resolve and in a world right now where you only get answers from faulty AI assistance, their customer service was on spot, fast and most importantly... Good for point tracking and rewards as long as you have everything set up exactly as needed before issuing any points or rewards. Many limitations with rewards that support did not have a solution for. Hard to make any adjustments or updates to rewards once they are in place and running.

Smile is a great program, though the price is a lot for me as a small business, so I have downgraded back to the free one. I had it for about a year on the paid plan. I would prefer a yearly cost so hopefully once my sales have grown to over 100 orders a month they will have this option.

The pricing and lack of features has gotten out of control. We are unsure how Smile calculates the 500 order threshold, but it is not accurate. Beware of the bait and switch for pricing and features that should be included but behind paywalls. You'll be paying $200/month shortly.

We had some issues with the Smile.io app syncing to our Shoplify POS when it updates. It was easy enough to get help from Smile.io and they were able to figure out our problem within minutes!

We've used Smile for years and it has proven to be a popular loyalty program for our customers.
