We discovered that more than 12,000 discount codes were created through this app and then published on coupon websites for anyone to use. Nobody ever warned us this was happening. It’s obvious someone hacked or exploited the referral program, but instead of helping, support didn’t even apologize or offer a solution to delete or block these codes.
This is unacceptable for a platform that should be protecting merchants, not leaving us exposed to abuse. If you value your store and revenue, think twice before trusting this app.

There is no proper onboarding (only slow chat support) and there is a lot of things that do not work.
just to name a few:
1) settings say that my mobile launcher is supposed to be on the left -> still shows up on the right side, even after waiting for over an hour
2) I created my loyalty page. Has no content. Cannot add "ways to earn" to page
3) Analytics are wrong. I had a "Member CLV" of 554 while loyalty driven revenue is 0.
4) ... and a few more
If I wait for the chat to give me all the info, I will not be ready before next month.

Tried to use for consignment and POS, spent hours trying to get it to work, but couldn't get an exact amount for a customer to carry over to POS. Tried support, their AI was helpful, but it took over an hour to connect me to someone and they didn't look at the issue and then just stopped replying.

Support is difficult to communicate with. If you have B2B transactions on the same website, don't use this app.

The starter plan is just ridiculous. For 50$ they dont let you do anything. worst costumer support too.

HORRIBLE QUE LIERAL TE FORCEN A PAGAR, UN ASCO
Not recommended at all. This app is just such a "pay-to-win" app type.. They have a really basic personalised points program, which does not allow you to make any little modification.
In my case, I reached out the max capacity of the starter plan and started considering upgrading to the 199€ / month, but wanted to see how a couple of new things would work inside of the app first. I found out you can't even access your app with all your customers points and information if you don't pay the upgraded plan in advance. I talked with customer support but, in their words: "they cannot do anything bc I maxed it out my plan"
I am very disappointed with this greedy policy they work with, and now I am looking for another options.

They waited half a year to tell me their integration with Shopify has broken and their hands are tied. Instead of offering to refund $1200 for the months the program hasn't worked-- they waisted my time, my teams time and embarrassed us to our customers. Ten years with Smile. I get as they say "our hands are tied" they cant fix it etc. but choosing to continue to take my money then one day start talking about this issue as if everyones been privy to it? WILD. Bold choice. Our business with smile ends today and as their integration is broken I do not recommend you begin using it in 2025.
