Lisa, the COO reached out to me to resolve a problem I had as a small business. Lisa made it work for my bakery and we can therefore now stay with Smile. Not many companies go the extra mile like Smile did and I command Lisa and Smile for doing so. I am looking forward to continue to grow with Smile Rewards! Big Big Thank You!
Previously I have let Smile know the following...This was a wonderful app until they switched it from free to paid per order as some of our orders are 3.99 and therefore cannot justify paying $199US /month just because we have over 2000 small orders per month. it should not be based on amount of orders as it is discriminating when you do lots of small orders. After it was switched over I could still edit customer profiles for awhile but not anymore - very very frustrating. They created a forcing function to make you upgrade even if you don't want to. Really disappointed!

This app has been extremely difficult and confusing to setup. I have a designer putting things together and it's taken a long time just to have it look aesthetically pleasing. We added the login block on the loyalty page and then it just randomly show up on our homepage. Trying to get a fast response for needed support is actually impossible. This app costs $200/month and they take hours to respond to customer requests. The fact there's no live chat support for this app is kind of mind blowing when $10/month apps I use have instant support and assistance. I actually wish there were other viable options out there as this app is terrible when you combine what they offer vs what they charge.

Reading some worrying reviews and too many without a reply, although most are positive.
Only installed the app yesterday so this might not be the best feedback (I can always update).
They would love charging you based on the number of orders but with the free plan the customers don't get to see the points on the product page, account page, checkout and post purchase. The customers are also limited in redeeming the points at the checkout.
So on one side, Smile.io would love to make more money if we generate more orders, while restricting our customers experience with their reward system and ultimately our growth and Smile's. This makes no sense.
