The free version covers all the basics and works seamlessly with our store, and the support team is very responsive. The only thing I would change is the pricing - I would have loved the ability to connect it to an app to reward customers for reviews, but 49 USD/month is a bit outside our budget right now. I'd have preferred a lower fee for the first tier even if it meant not having the free version. But can highly recommend it and it works as expected.
Thank you for your candid feedback! This definitely help us improve our product and pricing to continue help small businesses grow! We will reach out to discuss ways to help and improve your experience ✨ Please don't hesitate to send us an email at help@smile.io 🙏 we're always an email away!
The app is definitely working and taking off, it does take marketing on your end and an accumulation of time to pay off - for reference we have a very steady sales rate and a great return customer rate. I still think $59 a month is expensive even though yes, this does result in sales and people being able to earn and collect points is awesome.
Setup was fairly straight forward and easy, but I'd give it 4/5 stars since the free version is extremely limited in terms of its looks / style and mediocre way of wording some of its embedded messages to customers "like Spent Points" rather than "Redeemed Points" for example - silly things like this that you can't change the wording of!
Also, I hate how many of these apps really force you to review them literally within minutes of installing stuff - it's like they don't give you 20-30 days to really get the feel of how it works to give a thorough and honest review. Hence another reason for just 4/5 - hasty asking of reviews.
Loved the youtube video - made it really easy to understand and the colour scheme is so attractive i picked Sweet Tooth over Swell eventhough Swell had a Mailchimp integration (shows you what a visual person I am). So far so good, installation seems pretty easy - hope its just as easy for my customers to use!
I've only just downloaded the app and started testing it out on the Free plan. Had a question almost right away and the customer service was fab - helpful and informative.
I do think that the difference between the free plan and the first paid plan is a huge jump. Shame there's not one in-between, as I'd love to integrate other programmes, but don't want to pay that amount just yet as I've yet to see how well it works!
Hey, thank you for your review we really appreciate your feedback, we will take your thoughts about pricing onboard and look to improve in the future.
It offers a good quality app for a free user too! :)
I use this app to reward my repeat customers. Face to face interactions being restricted at this time. It was a way to reach out and say thanks.
It's great that you are staying in touch with your customers by rewarding them! Thank you for the kind words. Take care and stay safe! 💓
Sweet Tooth gave me the opportunity to say "Thank You" to my customers in a different way. With a loyalty program, I created an easy to manage CRM program that will add sales to my company.
Very good app, would prefer if there were more options than just having the tab, as i think this makes my site look a bit spammy. but maybe this is just as im using the free plan
Smile.io has been great. Easy to setup again. We had changed to a different rewards system but changed back as we prefer the additional visibilty of this program. When we had an issue with customizing our notification, support was quick to help, so big shoutout to Roel.
A few things that we would love to see added are the ability to award customers points when they have spent a certain amount or have made a certain number of orders. Also awarding customers for Instagram tags and Pinterest follows and pins from the site and being able to customize the fonts in the launcher so it matches our brand better.
Also a big issue to fix in the referral program. There needs to be a way to stop customers from referring themselves on a different email address.
