Works well, does what its supposed to, but the funding options in Canada will cost you bank fees each time, and small startups will take a long time to have this pay for itself unless you are already generating significant sales per day or have a team dedicated to influencer hounding and/or are already gaining traction with content creators. I wouldn't suggest using this for new stores with modest budgets.

its fine. app is really slow. 50/50 on it. it does what is supposed to when it loads but it the app runs so slow sometimes.
I've been using this app for a few months. The idea is brilliant but there are quite a few bugs to beware of. The support is pretty responsive but it takes them ages to iron out bugs as they pop up. When we launched our program the Klaviyo integration didn't work properly at all and it took 4 weeks for them to actually make it work. They have "creatives/emails" that you can send using their platform but the text is really gamie and you can't change it. I recently noticed they started sending automated emails to customers even though the settings were off. It's confusing for our customers as they get a Klaviyo email and then a crappy social snowball one too encouraging them to make an account in their platform -another thing that really should be store brand able. I mentioned it to support 3 weeks ago and thought they turned it off only to find it was still on. If your a small store that doesn't really need a product to have a strong branded experience this app can do the job. If you want to customise your messaging and touchpoints to be a smooth experience unfortunately this app needs more focus and dev support. Also support is based in Asia but works on California time so if your not there expect waiting the whole day for a response. I'm giving this a 3 as they do listen but the fact that customer facing bugs pop up and stay around for more than a week is painful as you're trying to build an e-commerce experience that rocks.

The app appears to have some good things going for it. However there are some negatives that need resolving; first and foremost the emails that the app sends to new affiliates need to have an edit feature. Currently the wording is not editable and comes across a bit overbearing and pushy with crazy looking emojis which is not conducive to sites that cater to older and more professional clientele.

Although currently you cannot edit the text in our out of the box email sequence, we do encourage merchants who want to customize this text to use our Klaviyo integration (or other ESPs through Zapier such as Mailchimp or Omnisend) which allows you to fully customize every aspect of the emails sent to your affiliates. If interested, a team member would be more than happy to help set this up for you. We do plan on building an in app email editor down the road.

Functionalities look great but I could not get it to work, very complicated and the support never got back to me.
The customer support provided by the Social Snowball team is exceptional. They are responsive and always ready to help with any issues or questions

Responden super rapido y si tienes alguna duda puedes hacer una llamada con ellos y te guian paso a paso. Recomiendo esta app a todos los duenos de marcas que quieran hacer ventas extras sin gastar un centavo en ads.

Does not work, constant issues and no support wouldn't allow affiliates to add a payment method. Doesn't allow new sign ups after 100 wouldn't recommend

In order for affiliates to add a payout method, you first have to select which payout methods you want to offer in your settings tab so that affiliates know the payout methods they can choose from. This is explained during our onboarding flow, but I do apologize if this wasn't made clear enough. We are appreciative of your feedback and are working on making this more intuitive.
Social Snowball does in fact allow unlimited sign ups on every plan.
Our support team is online 9-5 EST M-F and will always answer within a couple of minutes. The team does work less hours between Christmas and New Years, however.

Smooth like bread and butter. I had tried using other affiliate apps but was unable to see any success - their interfaces were not pretty in terms of the UI and UX. I run an ecommerce agency and Social snowball is a mandatory download for all of my clients. Literally free money. Customers love the fact that they get paid to promote our products, and we have even seen an increase in repeat customers since downloading across 80% of the stores we manage. Support is top notch, and the FAQ section has an answer for every question you could have about the app. GO DOWNLOAD RIGHT NOW and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Massive game changer. Every single customer is literally out adverting for you and bringing you in sales. It started working on day 1 and even some big social media accounts are using them to make money. Brilliant. Definitely recommended no matter how big or small you are.
This app has me pumped on what’s to come with the brand I’m working on launching right now. I truly believe this app will enable my sales to increase a ton just through people sharing their link with their friends in their group chats after they check out… also support person was an amazing helper. Dude is lowkey a genius. This app should be a lot more expensive.
This app is a great way to get additional revenue. We have been running affiliate programs at scale but always had issues simplifying the process for our devs, this does just that. Great work team.
