Alex's poor explanation, putting the blame on Shopify, is really stupid!
The truth is that the first few months were tested to be able to calculate shipping costs properly, but when the orders ($3379) were actually generated, every split order required shipping costs ($399), and the total order amount after combining two orders actually did not include shipping costs ($0). The customer actually pays one more shipping cost ($399). Shopify Analytics shows two order amounts ($6479), and the combined total order amount ($3379) is not the actual price paid by the customer ($3379+399*2).
What a stupid app and team. Goodbye!
