syncX: Stock Sync

Great app that is super versatile in how it can accept and perform stock updates. Massive time saver and the support is great. I feel there is something missing however - We receive stock updates from our suppliers. We have the feeds set to put an item out of stock if there is no match as sometimes suppliers just leave a SKU off the list if it's out of stock or discontinued. I think there's currently too much potential for an automatic feed to go wrong if a supplier changes something on their file which causes the matching to fail. Ideally the app would hold off on doing something stupid - like putting all items in a feed out of stock - and send a notification to check it first. Currently this doesn't exist so we're having to check the feeds manually. I've raised this with the devs and hopefully they can implement something to solve what I think is missing functionality in an app like this. RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER REPLY: No that doesn't address the issue. If either of those options are chosen and the supplier changes their file format and columns are not matched, Stock Sync will put all items in that feed out of stock. I've reached out to you about it again and hope you can implement a mechanism to stop this from happening. UPDATE Nov 2021: Updated from 4 to 5 stars. The Stock Sync team has implemented a halt to the update if more than 80% of products in a feed would be set to 0. Along with a warning email to let you know. Now we no longer have to baby sit our stock updates hoping our suppliers didn't mess with the columns of their spreadsheet without telling us. Perfect!

I love this app. It's really easy to set up and use for stock quantity updates. All the items in my store can now have their stock availability kept current with the click of a mouse button. It's awesome.

I really like this app. It allows me to download and sync my inventory with the company I rep on my Shopify store. Effortlessly. It's simple to use and saves me a ton of time!

Stock Sync is very easy to use but best of all they have outstanding tech support they were able to help me promptly with a serious updating issue when my supplier didn't and I really appreciate that.

Works great when it is actually up and running, but frequent outages with the app being down. Today the app has been down all day so far. App Support is terrible! I have given up contacting their support department because I either don't get a response or when they do respond, it's 3-4 days later. Totally unacceptable!!!!

The app creates duplicates while making an addition , which is horrible if you have products over 1k. I also try to undo actions and it did not work.It also explained that when you undo task you get your credits back. I spent 15 dolar in a day and result is 2 star. I did not receive any support so far. It may synce qty, except that good luck with this app..

I tell you I have a supplier that uses a red/amber/green traffic light system for stock levels, they customised the app to work for that.

I asked them to make it so the app updated stock for individual variants by the traffic light system. They got it done in 24 hours.

They walked me through the early stages and made sure my store got on its feet with the best customer support I have experienced in the app store.

Stock Sync does what the name says. I could not have the success I am having with building my site without the use of this app. They have been responsive to any problems I have had.
