syncX: Stock Sync

Great app that is super versatile in how it can accept and perform stock updates. Massive time saver and the support is great. I feel there is something missing however - We receive stock updates from our suppliers. We have the feeds set to put an item out of stock if there is no match as sometimes suppliers just leave a SKU off the list if it's out of stock or discontinued. I think there's currently too much potential for an automatic feed to go wrong if a supplier changes something on their file which causes the matching to fail. Ideally the app would hold off on doing something stupid - like putting all items in a feed out of stock - and send a notification to check it first. Currently this doesn't exist so we're having to check the feeds manually. I've raised this with the devs and hopefully they can implement something to solve what I think is missing functionality in an app like this. RESPONSE TO DEVELOPER REPLY: No that doesn't address the issue. If either of those options are chosen and the supplier changes their file format and columns are not matched, Stock Sync will put all items in that feed out of stock. I've reached out to you about it again and hope you can implement a mechanism to stop this from happening. UPDATE Nov 2021: Updated from 4 to 5 stars. The Stock Sync team has implemented a halt to the update if more than 80% of products in a feed would be set to 0. Along with a warning email to let you know. Now we no longer have to baby sit our stock updates hoping our suppliers didn't mess with the columns of their spreadsheet without telling us. Perfect!

Usé la aplicación para actualizar el inventario de un proveedor, parece una buena app el soporte es aún mejor. Me ayudó mucho para la configuración, todavía tengo que solucionar algún problema pero estoy seguro que estaré contento.

I've been using Stock Sync for 3 years and up until 6 months ago was happy with them. I have no idea what's going on on their end but my products when added have no images and no one knows how to solve the issue, I've had multiple images of the same image upload onto my website and no one knows why even after playing around and adding new feeds the issues weren't solved. I've been told by Stocksync that there are no product images in the feed and this is why I'm not getting the images in, however this is incorrect. Now I find almost 4,000 products have been added into my store, so I've got double of the one product. I've managed to undo this however that's not the point, and is it going to happen again. I've even had my own tech guy look at these issues. Currently looking for another app to do the job, I can't keep doing this and no one can fix the issues. Used to highly recommend this app.

Stock Sync is a great add on for Shopify Store to upload new prices etc. Works with Excel Spreadsheets as well as XML, JSON and API links - very good app product and the backup support is always helpful and prompt responses.

I seriously cannot begin to recommend this app enough. We run a complex system of live feeds that fluctuate in price almost every hour and this app does the absolute best job at managing everything. If you have more than 1 live supplier, USE THIS APP. Saved us so much money and time, bless this team

This app is a huge time saver and the support staff is AMAZING! They are very quick to respond, created a customized a plan for us and have helped with any questions we have.
