Great for creating a PO using the CSV import rather than adding the product individually but the PO does not show on the Shopify PO section.
worth having and worth the money for sure. it's just a little hard to undertand how all the featurs works.
It seems to be a really great app other then when i write purchase orders it doesn't completely synch with my Shopify so I am having to manually go back in to my Shopify and update product info. Would love to get that fixed.
Doesn't load on POS. I was instructed to report the bug but I don't see where to report it. When you try to use it on an iPhone or iPad, (both are using the most recent version of iOS - 17.0.3) it continually refreshes but never loads. It does work on desktop.
Hi, there. Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review for the Stocky App. If you're looking to report a bug to our team, as well as get some assistance with troubleshooting these functionality issues with your iOS devices, it's best that you contact our Retail Support Team. You can reach these folks by opening your Shopify POS app, navigating to the 'Support' Tab, and then calling the phone number that you see there. -Imogen, Shopify Support
With a price of Free, I guess I'm getting my money's worth.
Is there a Stocky App for the smartphone or Iphone and the barcode functionality to do Stockcount seems very limited.
The pricelist for each product with different suppliers would be very good followed by the currency symbol which is currently missing.
I'm sure Stocky has some great features, but the one feature we need to use almost daily has zero functionality. We are unable to print labels after receiving products. This is an extremely BASIC thing for an inventory app to do . So we have to pay $35/month for an additional app to do this for our tiny business. I spent literally 8 hours on this today and got nowhere. They can blame Dymo all they want but in my opinion once you develop an app you should maintain it. Too bad Shopify bought this app so now there are no Stocky experts on hand to help solve issues. Thank for the "free" app Shopify (it comes free with Pro POS). We were really hoping upgrading to Pro would allow us to delete a few expensive apps, but alas, Pro doesn't add functionality to anything we pay for so we are just paying even *more* for a few basic features that Pro offers like holding sales and being able to do exchanges (eyeroll).
Thank you for your review and for your feedback on how Stocky can be improved. I am sorry to hear that the app does not have the functionalities that you're looking for and I will be sure to pass on your suggestions to our development team. Please feel free to contact our support team via the Help Center if you need assistance: https://shopify.link/vRnL. -Victor, Shopify Support
Stocky itself is excellent for a small business but it lacks one major thing: integration to Shopify and POS that would enable showing when product will be in stock again. I do not understand why this has not been developed in the 4 years:(( And someone might say that Shopify inventory/ Purchase orders does provide this feature but who on earth can manually type hundred order lines without mistakes plus the time it takes..
Thank you for your review and feedback. This is a great feature request and I will make sure to provide this feedback to our developers. -Emily, Shopify Support

Store changes required Stocky is available with a POS Pro subscription.
App doesn't pick up all costs associated with some products rendering it completely useless for tracking inventory costs. In addition I spoke with someone at Shopify a couple months ago promising some sort of fix but haven't heard anything since.
Hello!
We appreciate you stopping by and sharing your review.
I can definitely understand the importance of being able to see the cost of products on hand in the Stocky app to better manage your inventory. It sounds like you previously communicated with our support team regarding your concerns. I'll be sure to pass along your feedback to our development team to look into implementing this feature in the future.
While I can't guarantee if and when this will take place, I recommend keeping our Shopify Changelog (https://shopify.link/N5vR) on hand to stay up to date with new platform updates. -Victoria, Shopify Support.

Fails to sync correctly albeit constantly manually syncing. Reporting is awful and required to go through numerous different reports to find information. Costs incorrect when using bundles (records stock cost at child and parent part). Poor support from service team.
UPDATE: FEB 2021: I had to update this review to reflect the fact that I tried another inventory and sticker printing app, and while it was alright, it just wasn't the same as the original Stocky. So, I ended up coming back and trying Stocky again. I'm happy to report that it seems improvements have been made to the way in which the app functions but also to the information provided with the app. I still run into problems getting the app to recognize my Dymo printer from time to time. If that gets resolved I'll be back at a five star review. Just wanted to be fair and let anyone who reads this know that things have gotten better.
UPDATE: DEC 2019: I am incredibly disappointed. See, the developer of this app is amazing. Unfortunately, when Shopify bought this app from him, my love for the app quickly went south. For the last month the app has shown a notice that it is syncing. It has not allowed us to update photos, and printing barcode labels has become a serious problem. I uninstalled the app thinking that perhaps that might help - and thinking that the date would all remain in the system as the notice at the uninstall said info would stay for 48 hours. However, when I reinstalled the app just a few minutes later my purchase orders, Dymo label template, and suppliers were all GONE. NOT HAPPY. I love Shopify, but the response I've gotten to requests for help have been underwhelming to say the least. I would just caution anyone thinking about installing this app. The original app and its developer were stellar. Not so now. DEC 2018: Seldom do you find an app that is TRULY helpful with a developer who is awesomely responsive, and also TRULY helpful! This app is all of that! It's very reasonably priced, and it makes developing purchase orders, printing bar code stickers, and doing stock takes so easy. THANK YOU To Seb, the developer. Great product, and GREAT support!
Hi there - I'm very sorry to hear of the poor experience that you have had hear & would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and understanding throughout this process. When Stocky is removed from an account, any transient data such as PO's etc. is removed and needs to be re-added manually - I understand that this was your experience and I hear you on that. Your feedback is very valuable to us & I will be reaching out to you via email so that I can fully capture that feedback before sharing it with our developers and to see if there is anything else that we can do that may get Stocky back to being a valuable addition to your business. Thank you & I will be in touch - Beckha
Nice application for keeping track of orders. Here's what it's missing:
1) custom low inventory level alerts (ex. when widgetA reaches 5, send alert)
2) can't tell the application to ignore certain products, therefore a list of x number of useless items appears on my 're-order' list and it takes more time to sift through this list than it does to go to my physical shelves with a pencil and clipboard to prepare an order.
3) doesn't understand that a product can be purchased from multiple vendors, the only way I can order 'product Y' is if I'm ordering from the specfic vendor that the product is assigned to, otherwise I have to login to Shopify, edit the product and reassign the vendor, go back into stocky, refresh and add the item. Why can't I simply search from the list of all my products when I'm creating an order?? The application is VERY USEFUL once the order is in queue though. I can easily see what is on backorder and it adjusts my inventory levels VERY EASILY once I recieve an order with packing slip. Please, someone tell me which application can do what I need, I'm so tired of combing through 30+ applications to find an inventory app that can perform basic functions! Just FYI, VEND includes all of these basic inventory functions free, with their POS... come on Shopify!!
Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review for Stocky. I am delighted to hear how much Shopify has helped you and we appreciate your feedback. On your first point, regarding custom low inventory alerts, I can see how useful that would be so I'm going to bring this to our developers so that this kind of functionality can be looked into.
Regarding your other points, telling Stocky to ignore certain products and accounting for products that have more than one vendor, there are already steps that can be used for these in Stocky.
Marking a product as Archived in your Shopify admin will communicate that to Stocky and remove it from the re-order list.
Instead of just using Vendors for your Purchase Orders, you can also use Suppliers as a product can have multiple Suppliers.
I'll follow up with you by email with more information on these points for you too!

This is a dream come true. Easy to manage thousands of SKU's, inventory and to place purchase orders.
Fantastic App! Some serious work ethics here compared to other apps I used before, i would really recommend this service.
The agent is very open answering questions on users. Perfect. The agent is very open answering questions on users. Perfect.
Excellent 5 star app, very easy to figure out and configure. Excellent 5 star app, very easy to figure out and configure.
Stocky works fine for us. We have two store locations and e-commerce. Transfers, analytics were the most useful features.
Actions speak louder than words, this app offering me nice service. Actions speak louder than words, this app offering me nice service.
We used this app extensively for nearly a year. We invested a ton of time and resources in Stocky. It has helped our business save time, send out POs (we send out about 100 a month,) plan for the future, etc... Then guess what, we got locked out without a warning. After several frustrating days with Shopify Customer Service, we find out we have to upgrade to their POS Pro plan to continue using Stocky. Well, we don't have a physical store, so none of that plan fits our needs except Stocky. Honestly, they just want us to pay them $89 a month to continue using a tool we were using free for nearly a year. Really, what Shopify did was set us back as they took it from us right before the busiest time of the year (Holiday Season.) We had ZERO time to transition to one of the sub-par alternatives. Shopify cost me over 100 hours of manual labor, something Stocky could have done in 6 hours. Thanks, Shopify.
I want to take the time to thank you for your constructive feedback on the Stocky App. I appreciate that this is an important part of your business and you invested considerable time into the app. There have been changes to the way Stocky is accessed with the introduction of POS Pro plan in May 2020 (which came with a free trial till Oct 31st) in which the Stocky app is a part of.
I do appreciate the difference this can make to a business, especially after investing so much time, so I'm going to be forwarding your feedback to the relevant department about having Stocky only available to merchants using the POS Pro plan. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you would like to discuss Stocky or the POS Pro plan and features any further, we're always happy to help.
In general it is a good app, but there really needs to be a better way to assign products to suppliers, having to go through pages of products is a pain, especially as if there is only one product on a page, you have to assign a single product.
There is an importer, but I can't find any instructions on how to use it !
Actions speak louder than words, I'm giving 5 stars. Actions speak louder than words, I'm giving 5 stars.
It is really the best APP and best team and service! So cool. So cool. So cool. So cool. So cool....
We couldn't manage our inventory (500+ SKUs, dozens of wholesale vendors) without Stocky! Tried a few alternatives, but this has been the most robust app for managing and projecting inventory needs
Updated REVIEW! I have been using Stocky for a while and everything was okay but I had to upgrade to Shopify POS to continue using it, so I did it, but then I wasn't able to get into the stocky app because supposedly I did not have Shopify POS Pro (I do) so I uninstalled Stocky and tried to install it again and I get this error (We're sorry, but something went wrong.
If you are the application owner check the logs for more information.) So now I paid for the POS Pro because this app, and I am unable to even install it. Thankfully the support service is quick and helpful as I am now able to use it without any trouble.
Unfortunately, I'm now very frustrated with this app. Stocky Failed to Sync and was stuck in syncing mode for over 1 week. I reached out to support who advised me that initial syncs could sometimes stick. I explained that this wasn't my initial sync, I've had almost 500 purchase orders. I was then told to uninstall/delete the app and reinstall it. Sounded like a bad idea to me. I reached out to Support again to confirm, who directed me to the original Shopify team member, who assured me that nothing would be lost. Stocky still didn't sync...and I received no further interaction from Shopify Support. I then ran through the steps again, and finally had a successful sync. But...my 2 years worth of purchase orders, my preferences, my vendor minimums, and my supplier case packs are all gone. I'm starting over. I reached out to support again...now 3 additional emails and have still not received any communication from POS Support. In addition, I found that inventory quanitities (when viewing line items in the drop down menu) are no longer visible. So...let's say you create a purchase order for Fall, but want to check your current inventory counts to see if something didn't fall into the purchase order re-order parameters, but might be right on the cusp of needing a re-order...let's say orange food coloring for Halloween or orange Sweaters for fall, I now have to leave the app to see my inventory counts and then go back to the app to add a line item??? I used to be able to just visually scroll down the list of items from the vendor in the dropdown and see immediately which ones were a little lower than I wanted them to be. The *generate based on "same period as last year" functionality has not worked, and so I've been doing a visual review of my line items from the app to quickly determine if I need to add something that Stocky hasn't.
It has been 11 days since I contacted support. I miss Seb.
On top of all of this, I'm reading reviews and see very clearly a response to someone who deleted the app in order to fix their issues and find this :

My Orig Review:
I don't write app reviews until I've had a chance to truly test the product. Seb's Stocky App is top notch. We've been using it for almost a year now, with consistently excellent results. When you re-order merchandise weekly, an inventory control and purchase ordering system is a must. Now instead of filling our shelves with mediocre product, we are able to reorder top sellers. We are able to identify slow moving stock for clearancing. We are able to identify price changes from the manufacturer and immediately adjust retails to achieve an ideal profit margin. There are so many features, and we've really only investigated about one third of what Stocky has to offer. We have had 3 minor hiccups. Support (Seb) immediately researched our issues and found resolutions. 1 of the issues was user error and employee re-training was implemented. 1 of the issues was related to interface issues...which Seb researched AND implemented a change for all to make that interface more obvious! Nicely done. The last issue was actually a Shopify hiccup. So of the 3 issues, ALL were researched by Seb and support, and the one issue directly related to Stocky was corrected due to our feedback. Thank you Seb. We tried a couple of inventory control, purchase ordering apps, but by far, Stocky outshined the others. The monthly price is a bargain compared to the many features of Stocky. Great App.
What professionalism they have, love this app, love this app, love this app, love this app, love this app
This APP is really nice team! They are honest, trustworthy, considerate partners, I am eager to recommend to anyone!
I'm a little surprised by all the negative reviews. I've been using Stocky for more than a year and I've had zero issues. Is there a learning curve? Sure. But nothing I can't figure out from their help articles. I'm really grateful for this app, even when I was paying for. It's made the inventory portion of my job so much easier.
We are about to uninstall this app. Do not use it if you are running a professional shop. We exported our master inventory from our main shop and uploaded it to our second shop. We manually cross checked all inventory to make sure it matched when we installed this app. All products were set to "do not sell when out of stock." Unfortunately the app completely messed up the count between our two shops and allowed overselling of products. Tech support has tried to blame us without acknowledging the bug in the app or trying to resolve the issue. Save yourself the pain we are dealing with. Do not use this app.
Amy here from Shopify. Thank you for your feedback.
I am sorry to hear you have been experiencing issues with over selling of stock on your stores. As the Stocky app does not sync inventory between stores, I believe it is possible that there is another issue that needs to be resolved on your store. I will be reaching out you by email so we can review the issue in detail and find the solution to your issue.
Thank you,
Amy T.
I was very surprised to find I had been billed by this App with no use (not been used or even gone billing page) or authorization being granted to add to billing
I will remove this negative rating once a refund has been processed to be for $59, and assured there will be no further deductions.
if not will continue to review on all social platforms until refund has been granted
Guys careful, they debit large amount of $59 with no authorization or use of there app
I have logged query with shopify to report and also your support channel
I see they have been billing me since September (7 x $59) and I had no idea as I have not authorized this App
From my end I expect a refund for all premiums (failing which I need to know which authority bodies, legal rights and consumer councils I need to approach to get this refund) I will also ensure I go review and warn all about them on their social pages and reviews pages) This I do feel is large amount of money for service that is not being used (ever, not trail of use) and no auth given
Hi, Jared
Pat here from Shopify. I noticed that you had already emailed us prior to my getting on to this review and I have responded to that ticket. If you have any further questions about that, don't hesitate to get back to me on that ticket. I will also be sending another email incase there's anything further you may wish to add, you can contact me in either of those. Either way, the reply will come straight back to me. I look forward to hearing from you!

Tried to install it twice, both the time sync took more than 4 hours and even after that not all data was synced. The app is not showing all variants and demand forecast is all over the place.
It’s now 10 months using Stocky and it is FABULOUS!! I am a high inventory business with hundreds of PO’s with lots of delivery dates. Stocky has made my life very organized, productive and transparent!
We have been using Stocky for a couple of months and our experience has been fabulous!! Any questions we have had, Seb answers them quickly and he is a great guy to work with. We highly recommend Stocky!
Hi there, thank you very much for taking the time to leave your feedback and also to provide an update to that feedback after using Stocky for some time. We are delighted to hear that Stocky has had such a positive impact on your business and hope that it continues to do so long into the future. Wishing you the very best! - Beckha
is it me or is this app the slowest app in the world? i spend half my time waiting for it to load. please show me how to speed this app up
Hi there, thank you for taking the time to review your experience with Stocky. I would love an opportunity to assist you with this speed/loading issue if you are still experiencing it. I will be reaching out to you via email to see how we can help get this working for you. Thank you - Beckha
Fantastic app that is a huge timesaver when it comes to finding winning products , planning re-ordering and inventory, and generally getting an overall view of sales & stock.
Also great come tax time for reporting on stock levels & performance.
I have used this app for over a year now and find that it works very well with my rather large inventory. I absolutely love the stocktake feature and the app is filled with user-friendly and practical features. Best of all, the support is second to none. Thank you!
Love Stocky! Couldn't be without it. I used to use formulas and spreadsheets but Stocky means freedom and much better record keeping.
We operate multiple retail locations and use Stocky to keep track of and transfer stock. Love the A,B, C features and overall performance. Could be a little more clear how some of the reporting works, but I think that's mainly part of the learning curve.
We use this app to keep track of our incoming inventory & payments. We also use it to help us forecast sales to determine what we should buy. it provides a lot of useful information in an easy to use format!
This is a great app with even better client care. There are very good inventory features and stock replenishment reports. It integrates very easily to your store and it supports multi-location feature. It doesn't support multiple websites yet but I am sure it is coming. Seb is a great guy and has helped us a lot to get started and learn the app.
We have been using this application for the past two months and we are very happy with it to far. The main functionalities we use are (1) analyzing our past sales to forecast our future sales (2) generate automatically all our purchase orders to our suppliers (in just in time) (3) organize our promotional sales with ABC sku analysis.
On top of that their after sales support is fast, efficient, and friendly. Could only highly recommend.
We have used Stocky for over a year now and I couldn't be happier. It does what it needs and keeps the process as simple as possible. One of my favourite tools is that it allows stock to go into negative (a lot of inventory tools don't allow this). Whilst this might horrify an accountant, we have a lot of pre-sales and need to be able to sell items that are not yet in stock. I'm also grateful to Seb for always answering questions I have in a timely manner. Thank you for a great product and fab service!!
The app is great, developers are very accomodating and adding new features to suit our needs which I am sure will benefit many others. 5*
We use stocky to help ease the purchasing and receiving of stock, including printing barcodes for recently received items. We recently used it to do inventory, and it made the process super fast. During the process Stocky staff Seb reached out to touch base, and made our reporting easier by adding a .csv feature where there was none before. Brilliant! Thank you Stocky!
This app is great! It does everything I need it to do and more. Makes managing the inventory back end a lot more efficient.
Last month we migrated from a very powerful platform to Shopify and I was worried about inventory management as this is something Shopify doesn't have built in. So I started to look for apps that would do the job, and after a long research I found that Stocky was a good option. I have been using it for over a month now and so far it has proven very useful and easy to use, furthermore the customer service has been great and Seb has responded all my queries in a timely manner. My feedback as been taken into account and I believe enhancements will be implemented soon. Very happy with the app and customer service, highly recommended.
A fantastic app that far surpassed our already high expectations. The data it records is brilliant, so easy to use and the information from Stocky to Shopify and vice versa is instant; there is no waiting 5-10 minutes to process like many other apps. It has transformed the way we handle our inventory for the better.
This app is really good. I have a webshop and a retail store. I used to spend a lot of time writing PO and keeping track of my stock. Now I use stocky and the app saves me a lot of office time. Time I now can use on marketing. I can highly recommend this app.
This app really helps me project my stock needs and how it syncs with Shopify is brilliant. Best app I use on Shopify.
Awesome app! Very easy to use & does exactly what I need!
Love this app. Support is super helpful and quick to respond. Would 100% recommend!!
Great App! simple fast

This is one of the most useful Shopify apps we have encountered, and well worth the price.
First, some background:
My company is a long-established multi-million dollar company. We ran for about 15 years on our own internally developed code before recently switching to "Shopify Plus" (Shopify's $2000+ per month option). There was a time in the not too far distant past when the only thing my company relied on an ISP for was for the pipe to the internet. We did *everything* ourselves, including maintaining and supporting our own DNS servers, email servers, website, and much more.
Besides having developed our own website code that generated over $50M gross revenue during it’s lifetime, we had many internal R&D projects targeted to replace, one-by-one, our internal servers. Some of our website R&D projects included an experimental Magento site, and other sites, each of which were being evaluated as to their feasibility of replacing our internally-developed site.
In other words, my company has a considerable amount of internal expertise on websites and website development. Thus, I think we are *very* qualified to provide a useful opinion on Stocky.
And as I mentioned above, Stocky is one of the most useful Shopify apps we have encountered, and well worth the price.
For any 3rd party Shopify app, you also need to consider the stability of the vendor before coming to rely on the app. The gravity of this consideration will vary in direct proportion to how easy it would be to replace (with something else) the functions provided by the app, weighed against the cost of the app, as well as the perceived stability of the vendor of the app. Without going into a huge amount of detail on how this evaluation was done with the Stocky app, suffice it to say that we have concluded that Stocky was a “must have” app. It passed our tests in this area.
I know Stocky has an overwhelming variety of features, but if you install it and then focus on only the three features I describe below, it will be *well* worth the money. Then you can investigate the other features as additional "gravy" as you move forward.
These features also pretty much require that you load COGS data into Stocky. For us, this was trivial, as we had the data in our legacy (in-house developed) site, and it was trivial to write a bit of code in our legacy site to write out a CSV file with this data, which was subsequently slurped up into Stocky. There are many other ways to accomplish this as well, depending on your own circumstances, but you really need to record the costs of your products to make proper use of Stocky. Without COGS data, you are flying blind. And Shopify, out of the box, does not store COGS data. You need a 3rd part app for that.
The three important features I think you should use first with Stocky are these:
1. Click the "Statistics" tab on the Dashboard. All of the statistics shown are very useful, but for us probably the most useful one is: “Total stock on hand at cost price”. This is a number that needs to be brought over to any accounting system (we use Quickbooks). I know of Shopify store owners that just SWAG (“Scientific” Wild-Arse Guess) this number, but I don’t think the IRS is going to accept SWAG'd numbers for any but the smallest of stores.
2. Click “Sale Items” on the Dashboard. This report is the equivalent of our old “Dead Stock” report in our old legacy website. This report shows days of stock on hand for all of your products, and you can filter those products in a very wide variety of ways. By looking at the top of the report, and can know what you are overstocked on (thus identifying products to put on sale), and you can look at the end of the report to know what needs to be restocked.
3. Stocky has a number of “Profit” reports that are extremely useful. As I write this, though, the profit reporting is beta, and not available on any normal Stocky menu. You must request the URL for it. But do so. It is worth it— even if Beta. But also be aware that this part of Stocky *is* beta!
If you just use the above 3 functions, you will be richly rewarded for the price you pay for Stocky, in all but the smallest of Shopify stores. Yes, very small stores probably do not need Stocky— and I am not exactly sure where to draw the line. Basically, though, when a store expands to more than a couple of dozen products, you probably need Stocky. And if you have hundreds of products, you *definitely* need Stocky.

P.S. The above was posted from the context of our "Bountiful Baby" shop (www.bountifulbaby.com), but I guess I posted it from my OPSGEAR account (www.opsgear.com). Both of those are our stores, and both stores are using Stocky.
This app has been extremely beneficial to my company. It generates beautiful Purchase Orders with the layout easy for vendors/suppliers to understand and process quickly. The integration with my store has been flawless and has never given me a problem. Utilizing this app has literally saved me about 50 hours per week processing orders. Using external systems forced me to manually enter extreme amounts of data to properly process each order.
It has also been a pleasure working with the developer. Very quick responses and almost immediate fixes or additions to the app to make it almost customized for my needs.
I very highly recommend giving this a try for your store, especially if you Drop Ship any amount of items. No matter your process, this can be a valuable app to have in your arsenal.
Mondays used to be "inventory day" and we'd go through formulas on spreadsheets and integrate them with reports from different places and manually prepare POs in Excel. The whole process took all day Monday and sometimes all day Tuesday, too.
Now, every day is inventory day with Stocky. We can glance at it and see what we need, where there's a trend, what we've got coming. It has most of what was on our wish list plus some things we hadn't thought of. The few things that we've expressed a desire for, they've added pretty quickly or promised to work on it.
One of the best parts of Stocky has been the responsive support. Our rep always seems to grasp what we need and answer us fairly quickly. I can't speak for all the staff, but we really enjoy working with our rep.
If you really want to organize your stock and streamline your supply chain ordering and tracking, I highly recommend giving Stocky a chance to whip you into shape. I don't think you'll ever want to go back.
Great app! We had some thing that this app was lacking and Seb had restructured the app so it will suit us. Also Seb works non stop to answer all questions and queries, awesome help!
Great app! Simple and easy to use with great support!
Such a great app, we have a bricks and mortar shop as well as an online website and it is invaluable in keeping on top of stock and making orders. Seb is really helpful and easy to get hold of. I asked for a certain feature that wasn't yet included and he had implemented it within 5 days- that to me is excellent service.
