Seems pretty buggy. After trying to import, I noticed the plugin imported my stores twice, so I deleted all stores and tried to import again only to have the importer timeout. I'm going on try #3 right now...
decided to remove the plugin after multiple more errors and no response from support

It's okay. I've found less expensive apps with better functionality. They all use the Google API. Many of my stores wouldn't load correctly.
