It was very easy to do, however, I sell fabric and I can't seem to find out how to adjust the inventory or the weight for proper shipping charges. AI helped me find the answer but the directions are incorrect. There are no shipping options listed when I activate the individual fabrics. Not sure what to do now.
While it brought in the items, photos and descriptions, it did not correctly bring in pricing where an item has variants.
Took a few attempts to get everything in and this saved loads of time. However, no pictures or descriptions were imported so I have to insert them manually (over 9000) which will take a month of Sundays.
It is a nice feature to have but it doesn't upload quantity or vendors which is very important to our store. So it is time consuming to go through everything and add that.
It didn’t completely migrate over. On Shopify I got the product but no pic, no stock count, but I did get the sku number and the cost. I worked with what I had and just added what I could.
I had issues with the migration from Ebay where the system did not flag the product as "Physical Product" causing the store to show them as sold out. It took time and a chat with support to get it corrected. It also did not import the pictures, so I still had to manually put them in.
Currently I’m ranking this as a 3 as I know it’s a fairly new part of SHopify, but it’s not uploading all the information it’s given and sadly will upload an item 2 or more times. So you’re not really saving time as you have to go through and check EVERYTHING, this ends up taking up more time than I’m wishing to give it, but I can have 3 of the same item when I only have 1 available. That’s really the only thing that brings the review down and if this gets rectified, I would happily change my review as after all this is a free service they are technically providing (even though the monthly cost is quite high, the price must include this service in it but it saves me paying between $5-30 extra per month )
Other than that it does migrate most of the information successfully, I do have to tinker with a few bits but that’s always expected when dealing with multiple platforms.
Anyway that’s my cue to get off my soap box and thank you Shopify for saving me some money at least
Hi there,
Thank you for taking the time to share such a thoughtful review. We appreciate you highlighting both what’s working and where improvements are needed. Duplicate uploads can occasionally occur depending on the source data, and feedback like yours helps us identify where we can make the import process more accurate and reliable.
We’re glad to hear the app has helped reduce some of the setup work overall, and we’ll continue refining it to save merchants even more time in the future.

Not all items were imported, the reason for that was not well-explained and no solutions or instructions for how to correct were provided
While it did migrate many of my items, it did not migrate all of my listings. And the listing that did migrate, there were no descriptions or images, so I have to add those to the ones that did migrate, as well as manually list the ones that did migrate.
Migrating products was simple enough. But the store creation/configuration is not as easy as it is being promoted as.
