*Update* I have adjusted my review up to 4 stars as the request a University feature seems to be working, and the workflow I have now for dealing with faulty emails is more streamlined.

When it works, it's great! It's easy for customers to use and is a bit of a 'set it and forget it' solution which is amazing. The customer support is great too, getting back to me quickly if I have an issue.

My only reason for not giving more stars is the amount of emails I have to go through, apologising to customers that the student discount didn't work.

Having to apologise to customers for an issue that isn't yours is annoying and a real shame. (80% of my customer emails are about a student discount not working)

Like I said, the support is quick on adding to the database, and they have added some features for shop owners to add universities to the database (I haven't received confirmation on these entries yet) but for every customer that emails asking why it isn't working, I'm sure there are more that just give up and shop elsewhere.

I think these features are a step in the right direction, but I can't give it more stars for the amount of emails and my own discount codes that I have sent out because of the delay.

Thank you for your feedback! We really appreciate hearing your thoughts on our app. We are glad you like the apps latest features and have acknowledged our efforts to improve the app further.

We completely understand the inconvenience of occasionally having to manually provide discounts to your student customers. Our discounts work through email confirmation, which allows us to provide users with unlimited free student verifications. However, this also means that occasionally these emails are blocked by the customer's university email inbox. This is why we have introduced a manual discount feature, which allows you to generate discounts if you do experience this issue.

Additionally, although our database is constantly growing and currently contains over 12,000 universities worldwide, there are still a few that are missing from our database. We are combatting this issue by introducing new features, such as our request a university feature which allows you to add institutions to our database, following security approval. This feature will help to resolve the issues you are currently experiencing. (We also have an option where you can create your shop's own personal database and add institutions, without requiring approval from us.)
