customer service is non existent I HATE when you can not get help form a person, no response to emails, also do not like that they offer "Free shipping" its just padded into the cost of the item, and you pay more for shipping for multiple items in the long run, making it more expensive and making it less profitable. its not a bad app but it could be better. Depends on what selection you are looking for .

Hi Haydee,

Looked up your account a bit, and I can't seem to find any communication from your side inside our support channels. No email (based on the email you used on the single order you created and cancelled), and no chats on your name either. So I'm not entirely sure what went wrong there, but I would love to find out!

We actually have a very active support team, that's available through live chat 24/7 or that can be reached through our email support@subliminator.com

Also please note that our products are always mentioned as "including shipping" and not "free shipping". Shipping is indeed added together with the product cost, and we're quite transparent about this. So we're not trying to call it "free shipping either". So perhaps we missed a step somewhere and used the wrong word, and if that's the case our sincere apologies.

Would love it if you could still give us a chance, and order a sample for yourself. I'm sure you'll be pleased with the quality we provide.

Our support team has been notified as well to pay extra attention if a message comes in from you, which we can't seem to find until now. If you're in doubt, you can always use the chat widget on our website www.subliminator.com which appears at the right bottom corner.

Terrible customer service! Please don't use this app, shipping times are terrible as well. Try Printify instead.

Hi there!

Thank you for your review. Upon further investigation with our support team I found out that:

1. You reached out to our support team asking for help with your Shopify store shipping profiles, after which a team member redirected you to contact Shopify support, as shipping profiles are related to your store settings, and not Subliminator

2. You installed the app 2 weeks ago, and have NOT placed any orders so far.

So while we're not entirely sure why you would leave us such a dishonest review, we do wish you a successful ecommerce journey. And if you change your mind along the way, you're more than welcome to try us out the next time.

I'm looking at using the app, but I'm wondering how payment works. Does it charge the card I provide directly for the base cost of each order, or does it withdraw the cost from the customers account?

So the purpose of Shopify app store reviews is to give your opinion of us after you've used us, had some orders fulfilled, etc. Other potential new clients will look at the reviews given here, and your 3-star review of us based on absolutely nothing will only bring down our average. So removing this review would be greatly appreciated, since it isn't really a review.

Having said that: Your question is not really related to any print-on-demand service. As the principle with Shopify is that you always receive the funds from your customer into your account. The money can never go directly from your customer to a print-on-demand provider. From your side you add a billing method inside the billing settings of Subliminator.

So for example: You sell a hoodie for $60 > You get paid the $60 to your store > Subliminator automatically charges you the basecost + shipping of $34 through the billing method you've set up inside the Subliminator App.

For the next time please just contact our support through support@subliminator.com and we'll be glad to help you further over there.

I like the app ,only thing that sucks is the fact that you can download it for "Free" but you need to pay them to use it anyway. You will be able to create a design but you cant save it and when you try to upload to your store it just wants you to upgrade to a paid package. It makes sense we all got to eat but why not limit a user to an amount of uploads then let them pay for a product that they cant live without. Support actually ignored me when i gave this suggestion ,I see no point paying for something I don't know works 100% from supplier to client. So I will uninstall this an look for a better option.

Hi Shoplanza,

I double checked on this with our support team, that you reached out to first. I think you might have misunderstood how Subliminator works, as it is completely FREE to create and publish product, and you only pay us when you have an order.

There is an upgrade possible, which is a paid service that comes with a free trial, but this is to create personalized products for your customers. Meaning you can add an image/text placeholder in the product which will be dynamic. So your customers can then enter their name or upload their photo on your product page.

So support hasn't ignored you in any way, but I think you misunderstood how our app actually works. Give it a try, create a product (without using the text/image placeholder option) and you'll see that you can just create unlimited products for free.

Also please reconsider this 2-star review, as it in no way reflects our services, and the whole thing is just a misunderstanding.

I recently downloaded this app and it doesn't work. Every tab I clicked sent me to a white page that says, "Authentication error occurring." I tried uninstalling and adding the app six times but nothing. I also contacted them through email and Facebook regarding the issue and I never received a response. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

To our knowledge you sent an email on December 9th 2018, we replied email on the same day with a suggestion what to do. The next day you replied that it worked. We'd appreciate a higher rating than 1 star for this ;)

Really nice site and some unique products. Customer service people get back to you quickly. Would be top notch if you could have a way to edit your products or at least see your products you have made on your Dashboard. If you want to edit anything, you have to delete and start again. Looking forward to making more items with Subliminator and putting them in my Shopify store.

The prices in their media gallery are accurate, and the all over print option is great, however, the price is a bit steep for beginners. That being said, for an established brand I'm certain this is the perfect app. The mockups are awesome and the customization is outstanding. Did not get a chance to speak with customer service or verify the quality of the products.

The quality of their products that I have ordered and sold is fantastic. The catalog is growing and I love their attention to detail compared to other POD services. It's the small things like changing the color of thread to match the background of the products that show me they care. Sure mistakes can (and will) happen, but I never had an issue getting ahold of their team unlike some of the reviews I see here. They are incredibly active and engaged on their Facebook page, and generally easy to talk to. I would recommend their service, but also remind you to research if they are the right fit for your business before going all in.

In the past few months, I've fulfilled hundreds of items through Subliminator, due to their unique product offering ( mainly focused on Baseball Jerseys). Our customers love the product, and send rave reviews of the quality. While there is work to be done on the technical side, such as ensuring order confirmations are sent out (we handle a lot of emails on this subject), orders are properly marked completed, and ideally a way to edit an existing design, this app fills a much needed print on demand niche. Currently leaving at 4 stars, with the expectation that they will be 5 stars once they sort out some of the technical issues that make creating products a long process.

Thank you for your feedback. If all goes well, then later in this first quarter of 2021 we'll be able to serve you better with our "Product Hub" that will do exactly as you mentioned that was missing. Editing/duplicating products will then be easier than ever, and we hope you'll like it as well.
