Absolute garbage. Where to even begin? Save yourself a LOT of headaches and don't come anywhere near this horrendous app.
Horrendous functionality, horrendous support, horrendous documentation. Absolute joke but not funny.
Worst customer support and it's like their job is to make people want to stop using ReCharge. Jon B said he would help and that he cared about my issue but he did nothing to resolve it. It's been 3 days. I'm paying thousands of dollars a year to ReCharge and no one from their team is helping. Customers update their credit cards but ReCharge doesn't update it on their end to use the new credit card. Disappointed. I hope you tell Jon B to improve his customer service
Charged me 100$ per month for my subscription without my approval. Extremely dishonest company to long time customers. DO NOT USE.

I regret the day I installed this app. It has been nothing but a pain in my, and my customers arse since the day it began. Customer support take ages to respond, and usually I have to quick fix a problem because I can't live with my business running on half performance, then customer service don't understand why I am having issues. Now the issues are once a week and I have filled out the contact form more times than I can count. Strongly suggest you go elsewhere. Not worth losing the amount of customers I have lost because of these lot. Update: a year later I am still standing by my review. I have just been informed by Recharge that I have been charged for a change in plan which i didn't authorise or choose. I have been told that I can revert to the standard plan but wont get a refund. I get 5-7 word responses from a different person in their 'customer care' team every 24 hours. There is no phone number, there is no result. A bunch of crooks! And once again, I am disappointed in myself for letting them have my business for so long.
Be CAREFUL with this company. We have been using their free platform for a couple of years, it is very lacklustre and we were looking for an alternative. They upgraded us to their higher tier to try it out, and it wasn't much better - but instead of putting us back on the free tier, they started billing us $500 per month after the trial! We have been trying to get them to stop billing us since August and every month they charge us $500 USD or more for something we are not even using!!. It's infuriating! They just reply saying "the free tier doesn't exist anymore" and then they still charge us!
You cannot remove your credit card, you cannot change your billing tier - you are at their mercy. We now have to just shut down our subscription service entirely since removing the app is (hopefully) the only way to get them to stop charging us!

Awful app. Refuse to respond and refuse to cancel my account. they haven't replied to my support tickets in weeks and keep charging. Satay away from this scam app and go with something else!

L'augmentation de prix annoncée rend l'application vraisemblablement caduque pour beaucoup de petits stores Shopify qui ne font que professer quelques subscriptions parmi les commandes.
Pourtant, le support client avait toujours été rapide et très efficace quand nous en avions eu besoin -- il y a plus de deux ans. Les scénarios de recharge sont d'une grande utilité et l'application est globalement assez simple à utiliser.
Recharge has been a nightmare for us from day 1. Their customer support has been non-existent, they refuse to help if you have other apps installed and blame everything that doesn't work on other apps - even though we paid a premium for 'priority' support. They don't support currency conversions, so discounts actually ADDED the value of the discount to the price. When we had complaints from our customers on how confusing the customer portal was, they charged $300/month to customize it, and you still have to pay a developer 1000s on top of that. After more than 2 years, we finally found another solution that works for us and we have never been so happy to get rid of an app than Recharge. Good Riddance.
We briefly installed this app 18 months ago when it was free, but never actually used it. We were therefore shocked to discover that Recharge had billed $99 to our Shopify account last month.
We have contacted Recharge numerous times and they have promised to refund. However, we have still not received a refund to our Shopify account.
We have been back and forth between Recharge and Shopify customer services. Shopify tell them to refund us. Recharge say they will refund but the refund never materialises.
We are extremely surprised that an app on Shopify is allowed to operate like this.

Terrible experience and terrible customer service.
We just added Recharge and some of the products were set to be subscription forever, although we wanted to undo them.
Not only that, now our customers cannot add them to their cart, it is a massive bug. Currently is costing us some money. We asked for help, and they didn't get back to us. Every day we are losing money and still waiting for a response
