Hi - I have never written a bad review in my life. If I don't have anything nice to say, I don't say anything I just spend my money elsewhere. This APP is SOOOOO problematic. Customers cannot tune their deliveries themselves just for starters. But the reason I am writing this review is because THIS APP is making my buy box disappear on multiple product listings. We have asked for help mulitple times. Here is their answer: XYZ here with Recharge, thanks for reaching out. Adding a Quick View to your store theme requires custom code for your Shopify storefront and is not supported by ReCharge as per our design policy. It depends on your Shopify store theme, how it's coded with JavaScript, and what Quick View apps you use on your storefront. If you require further assistance, visit the ReCharge Partner Directory for a list of development agencies that can help build out a custom solution. This is their solution to their App whose purpose is to assure you get more orders, all the while it is deleting your add to cart button. STAY AWAY. ONCE YOU USE IT, YOU WILL HAVE CUSTOMERS RELYING ON THEIR AUTOSHIP WHICH MAKES IT HARD TO DELETE. I would give negative stars if I could.
I have been a customer of Recharge since 2018 and since the recent changes we have lost over 30 subscription members and no new memberships can be created due to an issue with the new updates they recently did. they advised me to change my theme which i did and still nothing. this has been such a headache and waiting days for someone to respond. customer service is 0.
I appreciate you taking the time to leave us your feedback. I will be bringing your concerns up to the rest of my team for discussion on how we can improve our processes.

Good app but when you face any problem their customer service is not existent. This is so frustrating. When you have to pay for shopify and their app. We have 5 shopify stores and we use a lot of apps. This one has simply the worst customer service you can imagine. They just don't care because when they lock you in it's hard to get out. Just go through their facebook and read the comments everyone has the same complain. You wait weeks for any relevant answer. YES WEEKS.
Terrible customer service, terrible software. They do not provide you with a phone number, and you are at the mercy of their staff to reply. Which is, on average, 10-24 hours or more. I have been working with them for their Shopify cart conversion (that all Recharge customers are being forced into), and it has been an absolute nightmare. After finishing the conversion yesterday, now my website will not even add a subscription product to cart. I have been losing potential subscribers for nearly a month due to an error with their checkout that they *cannot identify*. It took long enough to get them to begin the cart conversion. Now that it is finished and it DOES NOT WORK, there is NO urgency on their behalf to help fix this. They typically reply with more questions, and ask you to confirm something multiple times before proceeding with a solution. I hardly ever write reviews, but am compelled to do so because I am shocked at how inefficient they are. For the record, this is the second time this year that I have had to correspond with them for assistance. Two separate issues, two awful experiences. Choose another recurring payment app.

Probably the most UN - USER FRIENDLY app on Shopify. Customers find it hard to swap, pause, cancel, items. Admin backend is terrible and backward, need 100's of clicks to make changes and have to do everything ONE BY ONE. Support is slow unless you PAY FOR PREMIUM SUPPORT. You should know the value of recurring orders is HUGE for online stores and you need to improve your over all interface. I have lost customers as they get frustrated to use the customer account management system, its terrible
We have been with Recharge for years and are now looking for another app to provide recurring payments. They do not provide adequate customer service and do not respond to urgent requests. They advertise that they offer video calls and will assist in the case of a total site shut down, and they do not. Our subscription products stopped working randomly on a Friday afternoon and they told us they will be back to work Monday and will help us then. In the meantime, we are unable to sell products and have a massive marketing campaign running. Our inbox is full of customers wanting to purchase and we cannot serve them because of Recharge's issue. They will not respond to emails. We are severely disappointed and frustrated and do not recommend that a business relying on recurring revenue use this app.
We are sorry to hear you had a less-than-stellar experience with us. We have provided your feedback to our team and will be using your experience to improve our processes and app in the future.

Extremely unhelpful support. We have payment issues because of API expiration on ReCharge's end during BFCM. Sounds urgent? Haven't heard from them until now, and supports keep out of office. It's simply reconnecting the API, but it seems they are not really concerned about this systems instability and merchant loss from it.
You cannot rely on this app to work consistently. Products on subscription will stop adding to the cart out of nowhere with no warning. You won't know unless a customer lets you know or you happen to notice yourself. Customer service has deflected every single issue I've asked about without helping. Seeking another solution after losing countless sales.
RECHARGE IDIOTS CANT FIX GLITCH RESUKTING IS THOUSANDS OF $$ LOST!!!!
COUPON CODE GLITCH! FREE OVERNIGHT? NOOOOO!!!
Ok, so this glitch is SUPER annoying. It usually takes me 5 times to explain it to support, and I don't think they ever "get it". I did explain it to top management and they couldn't believe the system would have this glitch, but not enough people complain so they don't fix it.
Here is the issue. If you offer "FREE SHIPPING" codes, Shopify has a smart "limit to X dollars". Well Recharge doesn't have this limit. So if somebody orders a $10 product, and they have a free shipping code, they can request FREE FEDEX OVERNIGHT even internationally. So a $10 product can get $300 overnight fedex shipping for free. This really sucks. Every couple of weeks I catch the glitch but more often it goes out on it's own. Very annoying.
RECHARGE! ARE YOU LISTENING? FIX THIS GLITCH!
IT HAS BEEN 2 YEARS NOW.
Absolute garbage. Where to even begin? Save yourself a LOT of headaches and don't come anywhere near this horrendous app.
Horrendous functionality, horrendous support, horrendous documentation. Absolute joke but not funny.
