There is no better app. This app is very user-friendly; if you are stumped and need help, someone will always help you via chat. It's not an automated ask 15 questions before you speak to someone; it goes directly to help.
I needed help twice, and each time, I was impressed with the customer service and the result. I am on the basic plan, and they treat me like a valuable customer, solving all my problems and answering all my questions. As soon as I am capped on subscriptions, I will be upgrading. The customer service alone is 10/10. You can not go wrong with Appstle.

Twice now I've had a great response from their support team using the online chat. They're available when I needed to talk and were able to resolve my question quickly both times. This was when we were still building our website and were just using the app's free tier. I'm happy to purchase a plan now. I think this will work well for my website.

The app is not very intuitive so every thing I want to do takes a little longer them it should, but the customer service is wonderful and they were able to help me with everything I needed so far

If you’re looking at Bold, Recharge, Subbly etc I would strongly urge you to consider Appstle. Far more flexible, no need to create separate products for gift subscription directions, smart loyalty options and discounts for customers as well as working with Shopify 2.0 stores. The pricing is much more accessible and the support team has been great with their responses, often sending videos so I can clearly see what I need to do. My initial concern was using an app I hadn’t heard of but if it means anything, it’s great.

Annie was Amazing!! Helping me with set up and answering all my questions. Even got my product page looking better so the subscription buttons and the add to cart sat properly on the page. Really aprpeciated her patience and assistance. I knew when I chose this app it was the better of the ones I looked at just for options and functionality but add to that the support recieved and it's been Great. Here's to a smooth release and customer engagement.
