Having multiple, rotating announcements is crucial for our seasonal campaigns. The announcement bar shopify feature is so easy to use and helps boost our sales effortlessly. Love the sliding effect and how the bar sticks to the top of the page!
We needed a sticky announcement bar shopify solution to let our customers know about flash sales, and this app delivers perfectly.
We use it as a free shipping bar and it's great. It’s incredibly easy to design and meets our branding. Perfect app to create urgency and excitement around deals!
Since this app looks completely the same as Essential announcement, which I used and loved, I was really happy to find Hoppy. Unfortunately, here are my problems with it:
1. Announcement bar is lagging a lot, it takes 2-3 sec to load (Essential announcement doesn't have that lag)
2. Im using multiple languages, and I was expecting that the language would change when a customer switches the language on site. But no, Hoppy works on geo location, so on site language switcher does nothing to the language of the announcement.
3. Support is via email and is slow (atm Im waiting for them to respond to a simple question, its been 22h).
The ease of setup and how it looks on site are great, but for me to use it, issues above would need to be changed.

We do have more features than Essential has, and will continue to keep adding more customizations.
1. We've made some updates to ensure Announcement Bar loads instantly. Do give it a shot.
2. We've recently pushed an update to fix this as well.
3. As a free app we currently do not have 24/7 support staff, but we are working to improve on this soon.
This app is really easy to install and another great alternative to promote your bundles or offer on the top of the page. Really fast to set up and a lot of template to play around with. Got mine running in less than 3 minutes and it is looking great!
PS, love what you guys are doing especially keeping this FREE to use. Keep it up !
