In B2B business within the EU, cross-border deliveries of goods to companies are tax-exempt in the country of origin & subject to VAT in the country of destination by the buyer (reverse charge). Outside the EU (third country), a sale is tax-free, but VAT must be paid in the country of destination. For sales outside the EU, there is also a requirement to provide proof of export of goods to a third country. Comply with EU tax regulations when selling to B2B customers with our Tax Exempt Manager!

Hello, does the app work? We mailed you yesterday, still no response.
I need to ensure that customers in the Netherlands who don’t provide a VAT number are charged an additional 21% VAT on their total. Currently, products are listed as VAT exclusive, and customers without a VAT number can purchase without the VAT being applied. This is not how we want it to work.
Can you adjust the settings so that VAT is automatically added for such cases? Additionally, for customers in other countries who don’t provide a VAT number, their country-specific VAT should be applied.

Please note that our application is not responsible for setting up or calculating taxes — it functions based on your existing store settings in Shopify. As the name suggests, our app exempts taxes according to your Shopify configurations.

We had been happy with the app, but since upgrading to Plus the app has stopped working. Our emails and messages continue to be ignored. We've now contacted Shopify. We hope they'll take it further with the app to get the issue resolved asap!
