This Tiktok arrangement with Shopify is a complete disaster and it is also kind of a bad joke. These retards at Tiktok have the worst support team I have ever seen before. Also, beware that Tiktok deploys shady sales tactics like making your merchandise 40% off on Tiktok and showing your sales at full price on Shopify. And the fun doesn't stop there these Tiktok morons also auto-refund and auto-cancel orders without contacting you. Then they deploy a blanket statement about how this is in their rules and they always lick the customer's butt hole. Which I found strange. Do yourself a favor and read their TIKSLOP user agreement before filling any orders or even wasting your time setting up this sales channel on Shopify.
I would give 0 stars if I could. It caused a tik tok javascript pixel sandbox error on my site that I cannot for the life of me get rid of. Tik tok is ABSOLUTELY NO HELP. They dont care at all. I have contacted every department possible and NO ONE will help. Terrible customer service- Do yourself a favor and avoid this app - worst mistake I ever made
Only any good if you only have 1 location setup on Shopify, as we have multiple locations it is unusable as there is no way to select the location so it just fails to connect as it has just randomly selected our Amazon Location which is located at a different address to the address setup in TikTok
It's extremely frustrating to have your products disapproved for information that's clearly inputted within the shopify platform. Reaching out to customer service is a joke. I reached out for assisted over a month ago and they seemed to just pass me off from one person to another - neither of which solved or even addressed my issues. I was very hopeful for this integration but nope.
Absolute garbage
My account was deactivated by tik tok for policy violations which is ludicrous seeing I have contacted shopify and Tik more than once about getting help to connect my account. My shopify account is not even connected and they deactivated my account for a potentially risky seller. It's interesting since I wasn't even able to load 1 product. Wow pretty discussting Tik Tok has never once sent me any message from customer support in helping with this and it has been at least 3 weeks since I started this time-consuming trip.
I'm extremely disappointed in the TikTok Shop app. I was excited when the app first came out. it's seem to be working for the first month or so, it's was great but it worked. Now, I'm uninstalling the app because it's not working and I can't get any support. I can't sync my products, inventories from Shopify to TikTok shop and I can't sync my order from TikTok shop to Shopify. It's has been a nightmare, so I will be going back to the previously app I was using. I have submitted over 10 support tickets and receive zero support. They closed the tickets and gave me the running around respond, like AI. Having zero customer support for an unstable app is the worst.
I have to give it a 1 star because I haven't even been able to use the app before they ask for a review. So based on no information about the app, I am forced by them to give it only 1 star at this time. Later after haveing time to use the app I'm sure I will have a different opinion.
TikTok attempts to persuade you to enroll in their marketing sales campaigns by guaranteeing you coupons and free shipping that you can use and will be credited for. However, this is a false claim. They do not provide any reimbursement for these offers, and they also keep your funds for a period of 2-3 weeks.
Not even worth the time and headache to sell on TikTok.
It works really bad, I tried once, everything was well at the beginning but then they continued to take money from my account for nothing, but when I try to set up a campaign it says that I don't have enough money on my account, but I do, it works bad, no link works, no help centre, like nothing, hate it.
