the admin an seller apps do not sync right. making it truly so difficult to to manage products. the apps need to be fixed big time.
Same problem with TikTok it never approves your shop, all my documents are valid but it is the same thing over and over. Only app that we have this problem with.
I've sold on a number of platforms and while they all have their quirks and annoyances, it usually takes me a good few years to hate the platform and a fair while longer to consider removing it entirely from our sales funnel.
I installed Tiktok as a sales channel but a few days ago i already HATE this platform with a passion, there are so may things wrong with it, from not accepting tracking numbers, to the app completely not working, I've already removed over half our stock from this app despite only adding it a few days ago. i have little doubt the other half will follow and so too this app in a day or two.

Does not allow relinking of products and we cannot link our Tiktok products to their correct Shopify products. We have reached out to Tiktok many times regarding this problem and no one can help remove them. Only orders with linked products seem to show in our Shopify orders so we still have to constantly check Tiktok shop for new orders. Have tried deleting the app and reinstalling as well with no luck. Inventory does not sync correctly and app constantly asks you to map products that you cannot map because there is no way to unlink a previous product even if it was linked to an incorrect listing. Show old orders saying they require attention even though they have already been shipped.
Tik tok has made it such a hard platform to use. This is the third time that they’ve closed my store and I finally was invited to TikTok shop and had my Shopify my products ready to sync over and out of the blue. I woke up one morning and my shop was closed would not let me appeal it it said it was closed andFebruary this is August and for the last few months I’ve been selling on my business page and I was on TikTok shop all the sudden closed one morning and said had been since February it’s August btw now so a.i or whatever sucks Boone to ever talk to or no real help if you have an issue not even worth it at this point m about to give up
Not a good platform to use. I tried several time to upload my information, it doesn't matter if its bills , driver licence, or passport. I've been charged over $200.00 bucks and have not even set up my account for advertising because I was waiting on approval. But each day that goes by it's another $50.00. And still haven't made a TikTok ad. I reached out for help and well that useless waiting for a reply. I sync my products and the indexing just plan sucks. With 418 error out of 682, I could not index even though it was indexed for Google and SEOAnt with 100% index with SEO. After i corrected all the indexing problems by category, it still wanted more information, and right now it's easier just to get out while I can and not pay for a service I'm not getting. If I could give no STARS I would do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!~!~
The day after I deposited a bunch of money to start running Tik Tok Ads on my Shop, I suddenly get an email saying I have received a ticket with 6 violations for using "other creator's content on TikTok Shop". -- WHICH I ABSOLUTELY DID NOT. And when I clicked on the link the ticket says it's unappealable. It made me so mad that I spent the last 2 weeks creating my own designs, had already posted several videos and finally decided to put $$ into ads and THEN receive this nonsense, and it has the nerve to be unappealable!!!! Pissed me off so much that I immediately deleted my shop and am now trying to get my money back that has not yet been spent on ads! And it's a lot since it had only been a day and a half.
While it's easy to install, the product syncing doesn't work at all. Shopify and TikTok are pointing fingers are each other, meanwhile no one can fix the issue. Very frustrating.
Refused to recognize my account with my phone number. Every time it sent me a code, I put it in and then I got an error, unrecognizable account! Super frustrating, especially since I have already synced my account to shopify and am able to log into my account.
No support at all, in fact the whole TikTok app is shocking as it is. Can only speak with a robot that does nothing. We have over 5,000 products and this didn't sync stock count and other features. All it did was import a title with images but not the rest, so all items unavailable anyway. It's a waste of time as this may need to be all added manually. Won't be wasting more time with this shocking app
