Does not allow relinking of products and we cannot link our Tiktok products to their correct Shopify products. We have reached out to Tiktok many times regarding this problem and no one can help remove them. Only orders with linked products seem to show in our Shopify orders so we still have to constantly check Tiktok shop for new orders. Have tried deleting the app and reinstalling as well with no luck. Inventory does not sync correctly and app constantly asks you to map products that you cannot map because there is no way to unlink a previous product even if it was linked to an incorrect listing. Show old orders saying they require attention even though they have already been shipped.
Seems easy at first but it quickly broke down. It was very frustrating having to update info in all the locations in my Shopify account before TikTok could assign a warehouse. Then, even though my business appears to be verified, I'm now being asked to provide trademark authorization to list my own products that are currently in my Shopify Catalog!! This is almost making me want to give up.
TikTok Shop is relatively easy to set up, but it's also very involved. i see they try to make things "simple" and thank god they put the banners on the dashboard to alert you as a seller that you've got to take care of something but honestly, it's so much to handle - setting it up and keeping it running. I am hoping to take some dedicated time to go through some of the How To videos and that that will clear things up. It would be helpful if as a seller/creator, we understood more about how the system will promote us, as it seems there are so many OPINIONS only, and not actual info coming from TiktTok. Everyone's just guessing and posting their guesses. That seems counterintuitive. Also, I want to mention that online chat support has been amazing in most cases. SOmetimes the forum or FAQs just can't answer a question quickly and when you have a customer issue, or you are trying to avoid issues or a violation by finding out the right thing to do, they've been extremely helpful, and most times, easy to understand (doesn't seem to be a language barrier as with other platforms).
SHOPIFY MADE IT VERY EASY TO LINK AND SYNC OVER MY PRODUCTS I LOVED HOW EASY IT WAS! IT WAS MUCH MUCH HARDER ON THE LAST PLATFORM I HAD A SHOP MADE IT DIFFICULT AND I HAD TO HAVE A 3RD PARTY INVOLVED IM SO HAPPY I GET TO MANAGE MY OWN STORE FRONTS FROM ONE EASY LOCATED PLACE AS WELL
Simply the ease of set up was a dream come true for me, the Novice, at 66...Sweeeet...
everyone i know seems happy with it adding all my info was relatively easy now i just need to create adds. will see how that works as i'm new to this
