This app has been very helpful for our store. We don't often run pre-orders but when we do the app is effective and cost effective. It integrates well with our Shopify theme too. The set up of a flow takes a bit of getting used to, but once you've used it once, it's straight forward. We had some problems updating one of our plans and the Timesact support was excellent. Responsive, helpful and sorted our issues quickly. They stayed on line for the duration and fixed each issue one by one and clarified all questions about the set up. If you are looking for a pre-order app I highly recommend this one.
Timesact has been a really useful preorder and back-in-stock email notification solution for our store once we got familiar with how it works. The UI takes a little getting used to, but it offers lots of helpful features (the back-in-stock email notification is a must-have). The best part is the support team — they respond quickly and are always super willing to help with any questions.
We ran into some compatibility issues with a couple of our other apps, but the Timesact team really took our request seriously and worked with us to find a solution. Really awesome of them to help us out like that.
I was able to set up products for pre-order in minutes. I encountered a few issues but got them VERY quickly resolved via agent chat on Timesact's website.
So far i'm really pleased with the functionality and ability to customize pre-order offers.
Unfortunately, the UX is not workable for large numbers of SKUs. When preorder inventory is entered and then sale date needs to change, you either must change every SKU's sale date by hand or you must re-enter the inventory data manually. There is no import function.
Other functionality is good and it works with our fulfillment in ways that other apps don't.

We’ve heard you, and here’s what we’re doing:
1) Immediate hands-on help: Just email your CSV to support@timesact.com, and our team will upload or update everything for you (no charge of course), turnaround within 12-24 hours (often faster). Slack could also potentially be a solution for this (depending on your preference).
2) Big picture fix: A self-serve CSV importer + open API is already in development and on track for late August 2025. We’ll let you know the moment it’s live.
You’re not alone: Stores with catalogues of 15000+ SKUs are running smoothly with Timesact today, thanks to the same white-glove import we’re offering you while we build the bulk edit tools.

Our web developer suggested this app for managing pre-orders when we have things out of stock. We are probably only using a fraction of it's capabilities. Super easy to use, works well and their support team is outstanding if you have any queries.
The installation was straight forward, but since we use a custom build template we had many different things to handle to make it work. When we struggled we got a video call with the CTO Robert, who was extremely kind and helpful. He not only consulted us in the right direction, but even read through our code to see where we did something wrong generally.
Best customer support I can Imagine and of course the plugin itself works perfect with no hidden costs.
We love pre-order! We have been using it for over a year, and it works great. There has been the occasional tech issue, but the team replies immediately and offers a solution or fix in record time.
Really love the functionality of this app as well as the user interface. Very well-designed compared to others I've used in the past. This is a no-brainer in terms of investment based on the amount of pre-orders garnered for my clothing brand. In addition, their CS team is really on the ball and even the CTO himself ended up reaching out directly to find an awesome solution to a question I had. Highly recommend!
I had lots of questions for setting up my first pre order but the team where there every step of the way, and when there was an issue their tech team jumped straight on the issue and had it fixed in under half an hour! Highly recommend
Timesact is the only pre-order app I will ever use. The app is a bit confusing at first because there's a lot of information and a lot of new options with the interface, but once you have it up and running it's a breeze.
Every time I have reached out to support, at any time of day or night, I have received a response within 10-15 minutes, and they have always resolved my issue. They even go so far as to make custom code for your store and your needs.
The entire team is extremely helpful, and has always helped with anything I've needed.
