Been using this app for a couple of years now. First of, the app is pretty expensive. The app works, however, there is so much clicking around to do. The main problem and the reason for the 2 stars is that the app doesn't work for orders received via Shop Pay, Buy Button or any other accelerated checkout buttons/ apps. The company will be ready to blame Shopify for this. Other than the sleek UI and some customization abilities, nothing good in terms of making it easy for the Shopify seller.
This is a great app, I use it to run pre-sales all the time. The customer support is top notch - they were able to help fix an issue in just minutes, right before I had a launch.

We’ve been using the Timesact PreOrder | Notify Me app and it’s been a great addition to our store. It’s easy to set up and navigate, even with a busy schedule. We especially appreciate the flexibility—being able to offer “notify when back in stock,” “pre-order and save,” or simply mark items as out-of-stock gives us control and keeps customers informed.
