Tolstoy is an excellent app — shoppable video stories for e-commerce really bring products to life. We’ve used it for over a year and it definitely adds value.

We did face a difficult experience with charges that added up to thousands of dollars over many months, mainly due to our own lack of attention. The app does send monthly usage emails, but we overlooked them. Thankfully, once we reached out, the team — including the CEO — listened and worked with us to find a fair solution. That level of support gave us confidence to continue with them.

The concept is strong, the team truly cares, and the app delivers real value. Just be mindful to keep an eye on usage so you don’t get caught off guard. The integrations with Instagram, Google Drive and TikTok are a great tool of this app.

As for the app itself, I was blown away by how visually engaging it made our webpage look. Seeing our products in motion adds a completely different dynamic compared to still images - it's like the content came to life! Tolstoy should be a core part of customer experience strategy for retail brands.
