Just use another app
This app is too difficult to set up
There is the hassle of having to partially translate the product, and the app also does not work.

- Partially translated: it means section/page has been translated before, but there are some parts/elements in that section/page still have not been translated completely, or default content is already updated/changed recently so they need to be re-translated to update the new translation

Disappointing.. The app has several issues:
1) Glossary automatically and adds tags between the words that are in the rule. For both excluding rules and including rules. This causes either these tags showing up in the frontend or that there is no space between the words.
2) Besides that the Glossary is buggy, there is no option to upload a glossary file - this makes it quite useless - imagine adding 100s of rules manually
3) The translation itself is quite poor and doesn't really differs from any other much cheaper translation apps - the same mistakes are made. At least it's not to use for our specific terms in cycling. The bicycle parts are translated terribly. Also the brands are translated.
4) The cost of the app is not reflecting the quality of what you get - it is slow, it is buggy and it is not any better than apps that cost 10% of what this one is asking...

1. For Glossary rule and the Transcy is showing on your store, I have noted this point and are trying to find the relevant solutions to resolve it completely
2. The option is to upload Glossary rule by file, unfortunately we have not yet supported this function yet, however I have seriously noted this point and will take it into consideration
3. For the quality of AI translation, we are using an AI Translation System including Google, so sometimes quality will not meet customer's expectation due to specific language/context/situation/business industry. However, we guarantee that the system is being upgraded frequently, and the quality keeps improving when time goes. Also due to the limitation of AI system, we provide Edit translation feature in case customer can modify target translation if any mistakes are made by AI, so I highly appreciate your empathy on this situation

shitty customer service, I kept upgrading reaching 59$ per month and they didn't want to help with simple issues like having our theme to wrk with their switcher on the header. I also asked why should we pay 590$ per year just to enable DeepL translation integration which should not cost any extra just like google translation since the translation itself is not do by them. Shitty customer service and I do not recommend this app at all.

- We have seen one of my colleagues has helped you customize switcher on header for desktop, however on mobile, it's not displaying properly and she have not yet checked, then you uninstalled the app, so it's hard for us to check further
- We completely understand that costs are a big part of every merchant's decision to use. Because of its complicated integration from DeepL, it's now available on Premium plan only. However, on Premium plan, there're not only DeepL function but also some advance features to provide a great benefit of this plan

After more than a year using the app, we have to say that the problems it gives us are exhausting. Every time we check somenthing there is some misconfiguration.
It has given us a huge problem in SEO and they have even closed our Google merchant account.
The app has many great things, the bad thing is the updates, the misconfigurations. This season I had a person doing translations and when the summer returned everything had been erased. a horror. The equipment helps but the problem is the software
It has been already 8 months since we installed Transcy. I did a huge study among all translation apps, and, prior to working with them, I chose Transcy because it looked like their Services Vs Price seemed to be the best. After 4 months with them, I absolutely recommend this app for several reasons:
1. Customer support is instant and they solved all my issues. Always wanting to help and I always get everything fixed. If they don't fix it on the moment, some hours later they send us an email telling me it's done. 2. You have 5 languages for the smaller price, and it's easy to configurate. If you don't get to do something, they will always help you. 3. The app is easy to understand and content is translated automatically. 4. Best price vs service This is the ONE app I would never remove. Congratulations to all the team. Always always receive an excellent customer support. Thanks to all the team.

"Customers shopping on Transcy may be able to view the tags you've added to their customer account" this was the app breaking situation for us. Potential leak of private, internal tags we have here and all we got from the support was "don't worry, This is the necessary information that the app needs to operate at its best" Why? Nobody has explained.
The app itself is great but no go for me, as we could not sort this out. Don't put any private tags because your clients will potentially see it.

The app is very slow and lag all the time, really frustrating. Also, hundreds of random words from my themes are taken into consideration, even though they are not present on my website. It becomes impossible to find a word to translate in particular. And the team is not helpful with that.

The first issue is the loading page speed in back end, If it happened on back end, it depends on how many pages as well as languages you're translating, it means the more pages or languages you have, the slow loading speed it should be.
The second issue as "Also, hundreds of random words from my themes are taken into consideration, even though they are not present on my website", the random words may come from your store theme, also because of theme limit, our app cannot detect those words in-app to edit, our app just automatically translate it properly, in case you want to edit it, we will help you from our system. For further check and help you resolve completely, my colleague has contacted you properly, please let them about it.

I must express my extreme disappointment with my experience using this app. While the customer service team was prompt in their responses, it became evident that they lacked a clear understanding of the issues at hand. I invested a significant amount of time attempting to resolve the problems, only to find that fixing one issue led to the distortion of another aspect. Despite my efforts to provide detailed screenshots in an attempt to facilitate problem-solving, there consistently seems to be a recurring flaw in the solutions offered.
There are many things to be improved about this app's functionality.

Worst app I've ever used. It was a good app when I first downloaded 2 years ago. They changed their new UI and it hadn't worked properly until I contacted them.
They especially messed up my international SEO which took me years to get there. Product pages' meta descriptions are completely from different products, same for h1 and h2 either. I gave them a chance to help me but they tell me that I need to update pages manually which is ridiculous because I have over 2k products in my store. It's not possible for me to do it.
They messed up my international SEO ranks and are not willing to help me. Never ever use this app.

It's not about me getting used to the new version. Your app obviously wasn't translating properly until I contacted you. So it is NOT me, it's you. You should take responsibility instead of trying to look like you're helping me, no you are NOT.
It is mind blowing. They emailed me today and said that 'please let us know if you need further assistance'. Is this a joke? Really?
I already told you what the issue is. Why have you NOT still fixed it instead of keep emailing me and saying that 'please let us know if I need help'.
Total waste.
