I wish I could give -10 starts! I had the worst experience of my hole life with this app.
1) I installed it but obviously 2.000 words is not enough for a entire webpage
2) I tried to talk with CS and Andy let me waiting 1 hour to answer me 2 quick and simple questions about this the STARTER plan
3) I decided to buy it anyway... error... I've tried again... error.. I gave up!
4) I uninstalled the app
5) Surpriiiiiiise... I was charged twice!
6) I reinstalled the app, and surpriiiiiiise again: they were asking me to pay AGAIN. 3rd time!
7) I tried to talk AGAIN with Andy, and obviously he oriented me to pay again and then they will refund me (hope so)!
8) I payed and I started my translation... I thought 100.000 words were enough for my web. No, it's not! The translation got uncompleted.
9) THERE IS NO WAY TO UN-TRANSLATE SOME CONTENT AND RE-TRANSLATE YOUR WEB AGAIN. Once you translated something, even if you see you don't have more words and want to priorize another content, OBVIOUSLY they don't allow. YOU NEED TO UPGRADE your plan. Smart!
10) I uninstall the app and tried to reintall, AGAIN, to retranslate my page. Surpriiiiiiiiiiiiiise! They charged me again, because the app "don't memorize my previous payments" BUUUUUUT when I came back to dashboard........ is, the app memorised my last translation and I didn't have more words to use. UPGRADE OR UPGRADE!
It's surreal, unbelievable, I will do advertising against this app until the last day of my life.

First of all, please be advised that Transcy uses Shopify payment system. The way this system works is when you had installed our app with a paid plan, uninstalled and then re-install again within the next 30-day, you need to approve the charge again, but it won't charge you again in real. Therefore, our agent already informed that you won't have to pay for the 2nd or 3rd time you approved the charge. Also you can check this statement with Shopify support team since they are in charge of issue billing.
Secondly, if you get double/triple charge on your Shopify billing, please keep in mind that this is unexpected situation. Please do not worry, and we will refund the second/third charge for you without any hesitance. Next, you can translate any pages which are in your higher priority in case your available words are not enough for whole your store. Just simply choose which pages you want to translate, instead of translating all of them.
Furthermore, when you choose "Translate all", our app will start translating all pages, and it will stop when your available words are not enough. The translation progress cannot be undo, and as a result, we highly recommend you to check, and estimate your website content before choosing which pages or all to be translated. Honestly, I don't get the positive reviews... The translations are not really better than the native app and it's quite expensive for what it is. The most annoying part is that the app is PACKED with unwanted Ads! You are abusing the fact that I allowed your app to be in my store to show me sponsored content that I never asked for - this is an absolute NO GO! If I pay for an app, I do NOT wish to see ANY adverts there. Period.

installed but the support has been terrible so many issues and they are being so casual about fixing it meanwhile driving traffic they simply dont care about their clients

Don't use this app, so, translation takes a while and if you mess up they won't take responsibility. The support team is not qualified to solve problems.

1. The first concern is that "translation takes a while", it depends on how many pages as well as languages you're translating, it means the more pages or languages you have, the slow loading speed it should be.
2. Through your case, translated words cannot be reverted, however, we're flexible to revert your words without cost. For your case because of your mistake, but we still would like to revert the translated words. Particularly, we would like to inform that we have just released a big update that you will have unlimited words to translate, so you do not need to worry about missing words to translate.

BE AWARE After my bad experience and finally canceling and removing the app which left a lot of useless code on my side, I received 6 to 8 emails in 4 days one phone call on my personal phone number (they were masking their phone number) and they send me messages on Whatsapp. They don't respect your personal data and they will SPAM you to death! Completely useless! If you plan to translate your language from English to another language that is not Latin based, the chances of the fonts working in both languages are zero to none. And this app does not offer support or a build-in solution to adjust/change the fonts in the second language so your website will look clean and professional. The AI translation tool is a joke, don't use it to translate your website with it. Customer service was a total disappointment, they refuse to cancel my subscription even if I was in the 14-day trial and they claim that they offer 30 days refund... what a joke!

For the main issue with changing font for target language, unfortunately it's not yet on our app, however I appreciate your suggestion and investigate to find a relevant solution for future update. Right now, our just translates the language from your default to target language, for the font of target language, it will be kept the same as original font. Hope this will clarify your concerns.

First of all they say that you can use them free for 14 days, this is not true! I installed and uninstalled the app the same day on Oct 7, today on Oct 13, 9,90 USD is charged on my credit card, how is this possible?! I installed the app and needed some help with the translation, so I gave Andy, a person of their support team acces to my shop. He was "working" in my shop I think for about an hour and the only thing he did was make things worse. I wanted to translate the default of my shop from English to Netherlands but Shopify doesn't translate all of the data automatically. So I myself still needed to translate the default shop on 17 places. After he worked in it, he made it worse and now I have to translate the shop in more than 200 places instead of 17!! So I immediately deleted the app again, still they charged me money! I would like to receive a return of my payment.

2. For your main issue when you changed your default language between English and Dutch and you had to translate 200 missing field instead of 17 missing field, my colleague has followed up your case via your email, please let them know if you need further support

Terrible experience, the application leaves too many objects or words untranslated, and the manual translation does not work or works poorly, adds unwanted labels to the translations. The worst thing is that when you uninstall the application, the damage is done.

UPDATE: According to the support the app doesn't support Shopify template pages, neither page template nor product templates. So for us it is not useful. This app is one of the worst I have come across on Shopify. Terribly buggy and slow. Support is overseas with very limited English proficiency. Unfortunately just a big waste of time and money.

- Glad to inform that the content from page built by theme setting (online store 2.0) is now automatically synced to our app, you not only translate it but also edit it manually, please kindly check it again.
- For the limit of English proficiency from my agent, I personally talked directly to them and have a proper training after that. Also please believe me that single conversation does not reflect the whole support and product quality we have built for years, and I highly appreciate your understanding in this situation.
- About the loading speed, you please confirm our app is loading slowly on your front end (website) or back end (in-app). For making it clear, if it happened on frond end, the button to switch the language called switcher will show around 2 or 3 secondes after your website is fully loaded. If it happended on back end, it depends on how many pages as well as languages you're translating, it means the more pages or languages you have, the slow loading speed it should be.

that shit is not working the assistant figured out what the issue was but what she told me to do didn't work. She told me to message her with any question and I did. No answer. Then i signal another problem and boom she answers immediately. Overall bad experience, do not recommend

404 Error on another language, it's not working at all, I will uninstall it now, I don't like this one
