The app works good on the frontend with the switcher.

But when you use the app as a backend translator for Shopify languages, it works randomly for different languages, translating some parts of strings, and leaving others without translations.

The frontend switcher causes CLS issues.
The app support doesn't know that their app can work without the switcher, and I needed to explain the same thing to a new person again and again for two weeks already. The support is not competent in most of the cases. As for now - they are not able to resolve not translated parts via their app.

If the issues are fixed, I'll upgrade my rate for this app.

This app is a complete scam! I've been on a monthly plan for a long time, but the app constantly misleads users into upgrading to an annual plan, then charges the full annual fee at once.

I requested a refund and a downgrade back to the monthly plan, but they refused! They even demanded that I uninstall the app before they would partially refund me—completely unreasonable!

If I could give zero stars, I would. The product is unreliable, the interface keeps getting worse, and translation tasks take days to complete. Sometimes, it even overwrites my translations without my knowledge!

- While we're glad we were able to provide a refund for the 11 remaining months of your annual subscription, we understand that doesn't fully resolve the initial issue. The reason we requested you uninstall the app before issuing the partial refund is to ensure there are no further charges to your account once the refund has been issued. This prevents any further confusion or billing issues, however, we understand this can be perceived as unreasonable, and we'll be exploring more user-friendly ways to accomplish this in the future.

disaster for 11 euro per month I can add only one language the default language is also counted and the other plans with more features the price is insane 30 euros per month .... for the new shop this is insane . unsubscribed !!!

Just started with the app. I was looking for a good translation app for my Shopify store since the free Translate & Adapt app has a limit for 2 languages.

I needed a translation app which is affordable, good and fast customer service, minimum of 3-5 languages, easy to intall and work with, and most important, unlimited translated words.

After looking into all kinds of apps, compatible with shopify. I started with Weglot. But although they were kind, the response time was slow, only between 9am-6pm, and only by email. Moreover, within a few hours I reached the wordlimit, forcing me to upgrade to a more than twice as expensive plan.

Next in line was Transcy, and I am happy to go for this one. Easy to install. Let's you customize the switcher and most important, translated words are unlimited!!
An automated cs gives very fast and extended information. But when you need help of an actual support agent, this is done by chat which works better and faster than email. Shawn helped me out very quickly and all is working great now. Thank you Shawn!

So, hopefully Transcy will keep me happy over time :-)

Trancy is a very useful app and does provide a lot of functionality. It is helpful for our international business.

Had some problems with the switcher but Andy got it fixed really quick. We are working on another fix righ now, the support is great. Not 5 stars right now because we are in the middle of a fix , so I migh come back and write a 5 star review.

Very good experience with support.

Eleanor helped me a lot. I tested 4 applications. This is the only one that really translates all the widgets. You should take it without hesitation.

What great support! I had an issue with currency conversion and reached out to Trancy. They fixed it in less than 24 hours, even though the problem was related to the theme and not Trancy.

There were problems with the app not starting, and there is little integration with third party apps such as Judge.me. Not recommended.

Regarding to integration issue, current integration with Judge.me has limitations, and I apologize if our description of this feature was not perfectly clear. To be transparent, our app currently assists by automating the initial translation of Judge.me content using third-party translation service. However, due to the complex technical nature of their platform, we do not yet have the capability to allow for manual editing of those specific translations directly within our app
