Worst experience with a Shopify app I have ever had. After installing the app, I noticed that the translations weren't displaying correctly and that different currencies weren't showing. I asked the support team for help and after giving them some access to my store, they kept me on chat for about 2 hours. After 2 hours, and very little progress, they told me that they needed increased admin access to be able to edit my markets, I explained multiple times that I was not going to give said access as it would be in breach of customer data legislation and would expose my customer data to a third party (they were requesting orders access).
The support team ignored my explaination and kept saying that this was going to be the only way to fix the issue. As we weren't making any progress and the support team insisted on getting me to grant them access to my customer data, I asked for a refund. Then I was told that as per their t&cs, if I refused to give "staff account" access that would be against their refund policy and therefore I couldn't get a refund. I explained that I shouldn't find myself in the position of breaching data law in order to be compliant with their policies but again that fell on deaf ears.
Through their behaviour they've shown how little they care about data security so I wouldn't recommend this app to anybody. Besides, the refund request is now "being assessed", I doubt I'll ever see the money again. Waste of time.

Since translation and currency are working under Shopify Markets rule, that's why we ask for the Markets permission (Shopify has defined that to access Markets, it will require those permission). However, it was our mistake for not understanding your explanation about your country privacy policy.

Worst experience ever. Although we opted for the Premium plan, they made us wait 5 days for an app that has missing translations, false translations and our website's usability and speed went down considerably. We are shocked to see how this app can have so many positive reviews. I think most of its users don't speak any other languages. "Check out" was translated as "Vérifier" in French which means verify. Apps are not translated, doesn't integrate well with Shopify Markets. The support is terrible and slow. An overall catastrophic experience that made us loose a lot of revenue during 5 days due to bugs, errors and mis-information. We were promised 24-48 hours, then a specific day and none of these delays were respected. Unprofessional, unethical and uncaring -> worst experience with a Shopify App. EDIT: They didn't even delete their code after saying that I wanted to delete the app, they basically just sent an article on how to delete left over code, worst way to treat customers!

Tried to use this app, but unfortunately, this app created too many issues, and did not work in my case.
1. My search results became a a mess - all the titles multiplied 5 times 2. Getbutton icon that allows customers to communicate with us via WhatsApp became unusable and huge
3. Their support is there, but not really solving the issue, nor I can tell in confident they understood my problem.
4. After removal of the app, their code has been left in my template and still caused problems to my site appearance. I had to pay developers to find the problem and remove their code manually. It looks like big and complicated system and I would suggest to try this app on non-production site first, to avoid issues like mine.

1. "My search results became a a mess - all the titles multiplied 5 times", recently Shopify has changed some rules on their system. In this update, they've found some small bugs unexpectedly that might affect to our functionalities or working process in few cases and we're noticed from Shopify system already.
2. "Getbutton icon that allows customers to communicate with us via WhatsApp became unusable and huge", once you translate your page, something such as icon or button from your website might be affected, and this can be completely fixed by us.
3. We have checked your conversation with my related colleague who has supported directly your case to avoid this next time.
4. Leftover code issue, sometimes, there will have some lines of code leftover on your site for some reasons. However, we have an published article for this and you can resolve it by yourself.

Disappointing.. The app has several issues:
1) Glossary automatically and adds tags between the words that are in the rule. For both excluding rules and including rules. This causes either these tags showing up in the frontend or that there is no space between the words.
2) Besides that the Glossary is buggy, there is no option to upload a glossary file - this makes it quite useless - imagine adding 100s of rules manually
3) The translation itself is quite poor and doesn't really differs from any other much cheaper translation apps - the same mistakes are made. At least it's not to use for our specific terms in cycling. The bicycle parts are translated terribly. Also the brands are translated.
4) The cost of the app is not reflecting the quality of what you get - it is slow, it is buggy and it is not any better than apps that cost 10% of what this one is asking...

1. For Glossary rule and the Transcy is showing on your store, I have noted this point and are trying to find the relevant solutions to resolve it completely
2. The option is to upload Glossary rule by file, unfortunately we have not yet supported this function yet, however I have seriously noted this point and will take it into consideration
3. For the quality of AI translation, we are using an AI Translation System including Google, so sometimes quality will not meet customer's expectation due to specific language/context/situation/business industry. However, we guarantee that the system is being upgraded frequently, and the quality keeps improving when time goes. Also due to the limitation of AI system, we provide Edit translation feature in case customer can modify target translation if any mistakes are made by AI, so I highly appreciate your empathy on this situation

Auto translation only works if you pay the most expensive plan, when we realized that, we asked for a refund as we used the app only for an hour and they literally refused. It also mess up with your copy layout after translation, like bolding everything or coloring unwanted text. The support is very slow it took 5 days for them to try to fix the issues before finally giving up and telling us they can't fix it.

1. For making it clear, auto translation function is available on Essential plan. Also for your refund request, based on our refund policy, since we are offering Free plan for testing purpose, we do NOT offer free trial, and/or refund for any Paid plan. However, case by case we still consider to refund properly, for your case you might misunderstand my colleague that she said that because this function was not available on your current plan, so she agreed your refund request.
2. "It also mess up with your copy layout after translation, like bolding everything or coloring unwanted text", we have checked that you have not yet provided the information in details, so we cannot support you to fix it further.
3. In relation to slow support, for making it clear after each of your message, we immediately responded. If you're tired of your Shopify website This is the best App to ruin it, they'll be super quick at the beginning to support and get their messy application set up on your website and add the switcher and they'll ask for your rating and review right after installation and you've no idea what a mess they did in your website theme, after that everything will stop working and non of these ppl will even get back to you.

This app is a fraud. I took the starter plan with 100.000 words. It said that I could translate till 5 languages. After that, the translation was not completed due to excess of words. Everything okay till here. I decided to delete 3 languages that I considered less important and retry to complete the translation at least or the other 2. MY WORDS WERE STILL AT 0 !!! I contacted the "24/7 costumer service". NO RESPONSE AFTER A WHILE. I mentioned the situation to her expecting that as it LOGIC, I would get the rest of the words back since I paid for the plan and couldn't get completed my website translation. Jennifer's solution as a team of the costumer service of TRANSCY app, was about money. She wanted me to pay more by upgrading my plan or buying more words.. HELOOOO?????
Is that what the customer service is for and the app about. I have reed thr reviews with 1 star and there's people who had even worst experiences with this app. Some of them even lost their pages. This app is completely not recommended.

I literally wasted about two hours of my time. I want to translate my site into Arabic, but unfortunately the conversation was a waste of time because the employee did not answer my questions in the first place. Every half hour he sends me a message and send me a link that has nothing to do with the question. In the end, I ask him to refer me to speak to another employee, and then he tells me please come back at work hours.
