2/19/26: We were a 5+ year merchant using this app and were previously grandfathered into lifetime access. After reinstalling, that access was removed without warning or transition plan.
When we left a negative review reflecting this experience, support stated that lifetime access would be reviewed again once the review was updated or removed. We were also informed that access may be restricted when negative feedback is received.
Conditioning feature restoration on modifying a review raises serious concerns regarding Shopify’s review integrity policies, which prohibit incentivized or conditional review manipulation.
Feature access and public feedback should be handled independently. Tying account privileges to review changes undermines trust in the Shopify App Store ecosystem.
We believe merchants should be aware of this before installing.

First of all, we would like to clarify that we have never officially communicated or guaranteed any “grandfathered lifetime access.”
Since introducing our new pricing model, the Free plan includes feature limits. These limits are clearly stated on our App Store listing for new installs, and existing merchants received email communication prior to the pricing update going live.
Feature access is not conditioned on modifying or removing a review. If any previous message was interpreted that way, we apologize for the wording - that was not our intention.
If you prefer not to upgrade, you’re welcome to continue using the Free plan within its limits or explore another free alternative that better fits your needs.

Absolutely unacceptable. This app wiped out ALL my manual translations.
I am beyond angry. This app completely destroyed days of professional, manually written translations without any warning or consent. After granting translation permissions, it automatically overwrote every single manual translation I had carefully created in Shopify Translate & Adapt.
This happened right after I contacted support because core languages (Dutch and German, my MAIN website languages) were missing from the language picker. Once they “fixed” that, the app decided to retranslate everything from scratch, ignoring all existing manual content.
The result is catastrophic:
• Incorrect translations
• Unnatural language
• Brand-damaging terminology
• Product and ingredient names that no native speaker would ever use
This is not a small bug. This is a fundamental, dangerous flaw. Any translation app should respect and protect manual translations by default. Overwriting them automatically is reckless and shows zero understanding of how real businesses operate.
If you value your brand, your SEO, or your time: DO NOT install this app without a full backup. One action can erase days of work instantly.

App annoncée comme gratuite alors que ce n'est pas le cas. Il faut payer (meme une somme minime), pour avoir plus d'une langue. C'est assez mensonger de le présenter comme gratuit.

The Premium plan includes a $1 introductory first month, after which standard pricing applies. All pricing details and feature differences are disclosed prior to installation.
Our app is not advertised as providing multiple languages free of charge, and we make a clear distinction between what is included in the Free plan and what is available under the Premium plan. Transparency is extremely important to us, and we do not engage in misleading pricing practices.

The app is presented as free when it's not. Please don't get me wrong: I totally get why such apps would require a subscription, what I dislike is that you discover that you need to pay after having installed it. The 1 star is about this practice of presenting as free something that is not
The free plan includes 1 target language, which you would get for free with Shopify translate and adapt. It still has the advantage to include currencies I guess.
But if you need anything more, then it will be 15 dollars/months.

It's a really crappy app. The reviews must have been obtained through technological means. It can't translate anything, and there's no support. It wasted my whole day.

im here to change my review after 6 months of use..
im a website designer and i was using this app for 3 websites that i had made for my customers..The app developers did eror for the old customers to reinstall app and get block from publishing more than 1 languadge because this app was free and now they want us to charge for plan.. i lost also 1 day of work because of them..

they asked to have access to my store to fix their app ,
they gave themselves the permission to delete my professional translation and keep my website with no translation, and then using their lousy app for a very extremely weird translation that has no meaning what so ever!!!!
THEY DELETED DATA FROM MY WEBSITE ,
I reported them to shopify , these people should not be trusted
after i faced them with what they have done ,they stopped answering me and they just ignored all my emails
I CAN NOT BELEIVE THAT APPS LIKE THESE ARE ALLOWED ON SHOPIFY !!

3. In attempting to implement this, they removed existing content, which should have been confirmed with you beforehand.

The customer service team has not been helpful at all. The emails went back and forth without resolving my issue, and their app has a bug that they still haven’t given me a clear answer about. I sent them an email on Friday, and after just one weekend, they directly closed my ticket.
