About UPC Code Manager
Sell your brand's products on Amazon, Google Shopping, Houzz, and More
Many online retailers like Amazon, Houzz and more, require you to have a unique barcode for each product or product variant that you would like to list on their site.
For many stores that sell other-peoples-brands purchased at wholesale, finding a barcode or UPC code is easy -- you just look it up!
But if you have ventured into the scary and mysterious world of becoming-your-own brand, you actually need to create your own barcodes in order to list your products on 3rd party marketplaces.
UPC Codes Manager makes it super easy to: * Find products/variants that need barcodes * Buy barcodes to associate with 1st party custom products * Link barcodes with products and variants that need them
This application is for anybody that:
- Sells their from their own brand and wants to list those products on 3rd party marketplaces like Amazon, Google Shopping, Houzz and more
- Has a large product inventory and has a hard time keeping track of what products don't have associated barcodes yet.
If you want to list products that you purchased at wholesale on third party marketplaces and sales channels like Amazon, Houzz, and more, then you can also use UPC Code Manager to quickly discover which products need barcodes.
How many barcodes do I need?
You need one barcode for every custom product variant on your store. Some products only have a single variant, the "default variant," while others have many.
For example, a T-shirt that comes in Small, Medium, Large and Orange, Green would need 6 barcodes. One barcode for each combination.
Are these 'GS1' Codes?
If you can afford GS1 codes and are fine spending the money then I would suggest registering your company and buying from them. GS1 codes tend to get very expensive very quickly.
We are currently in the process to become a certified GS1 partner.
Are the codes being purchased on your app legitimate codes, or just made up numbers?
I purchase these codes from a trusted supplier. These codes are the same codes that we use on our internal stores, and have never had a problem.
What is your return policy?
If you do run into any issues just take a screenshot and let me know and I'll issue a full refund.
*Only pay for barcodes you purchase through the application
Free to install
100% Free forever to install and use. Only pay for the UPC Codes you purchase through the app.

When generating barcodes there is a difference between the image and the barcode field. The image contains one more character making it an EAN-13 code. While the barcode field where the data gets stored doesn't contain the last number making it an invalid EAN-13 code with only 12 characters. Could you please fix this so I can import the right EAN-13 codes
This app is awesome! I had some issues with Amazon not being able to validate the UPCs but Jordan helped me resolve the issue. Turned out the error had nothing to do with UPC Code Manager. Much easier and cheaper than going through GS1. Highly recommend!
Unfortunately it didn't work. I installed this app and purchased codes for $50 and none of the codes appeared or could be implemented to the listings. The feature was greyed out. I contacted the developer four times for a refund. He never responded.
Hi Luxx Perfumes,
Thank you for leaving this review and again sorry for any misunderstanding around how to apply codes.
On Saturday January 2nd at 5:59 AM EST (while we were on holiday) you reached out asking how to apply codes you have purchased to your products.
On Sunday January 3rd at 6:32 AM EST, you followed up again with the same question.
On Monday on January 4th at 6:01 PM EST we replied to both messages with directions pointing you to our getting started guide (https://docs.ventures-adventures.com/upc-code-manager/getting-started) which has detailed instructions on how to apply codes you have purchased to your products, and if there were additional questions we could answer to help you get started. These messages were opened by you on January 4th at 6:02 PM EST.
You can see a screenshot of the interaction here: https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuY0EXv
We haven't heard back from either communication other than this review. If the getting started guide didn't answer your question "How do they actually add to the products?" please feel to continue our thread so that we can reach resolution.
If you would prefer that we buy back your unused codes at the best possible rate we are always happy to do so as well.
We have an informal SLA to respond to support requests within 3 business days, which would actually be later this afternoon.
UPDATE: Per our new conversation, and reply we have initiated a refund request with partner billing, like we said we would be happy to do all along, with Shopify Partner support. They should handle it from here on out, but we are always happy to continue to support you however we can.
